Bittersweet.

I'm walking around my apartment like crazy trying to find my black leather boots. It's halloween night and Joselyn and I are gonna go celebrate at the club we usually go to. Daniela agreed to let us throw a costume party there Joselyn invited her friends and I invited mine but with our friends combined it wasn't many people so Daniela invited some people too.
Joselyn and I decided to do a duo Angel and Devil costume super basic but it was pretty last minute and we didn't have a lot of options from our closet. Joselyn chose to be the Angel she's wearing a glittery white skin tight dress with some feathered wings, a halo headband, a bunch of gem stones on her face and some white heals. I'm wearing a black skirt with a red long sleeve top that has lace on the back, a devils horns headband, and my black leather boots if I can find them.

"HERE THEY ARE" Joselyn says as she comes running into my room with my boots in her hand

"Oh my god you're a life saver"

I put my boots on while Joselyn went to go start the car. We arrive at the club and it's a lot more people than we expected turns out Daniela knows a lot of people. On our way in we would recognize some people we knew and said hello and when we finally made it to the bar Daniela saw us and made a huge gasp

"GUYS YOURE HERE!!"

She walked around the bar to come and hug us

"You invited alot of people huh"

"Well yeah I didn't want this to be a sad party, here i'll make you guys drinks to start the night"

Daniela made us drinks so we sat and looked to see who else we recognized. This guy approached Joselyn I think she had a class with him or something but I kept looking around while they talked and suddenly I locked eyes with this girl she looked to be in her mid 20s she had long wavy brown hair and wasn't wearing a costume she was staring deep into my eyes I got a little scared and turned back to the bar. When the guy left I asked Joselyn if she knew the girl and she didn't. I then asked Daniela if she invited her "Oh her? she kind of invited herself she came in the other day and asked if the bar would be open for halloween I told her how it would be closed to the public but a event would be going on she went on about how she had no plans and wanted to be here halloween night so I said I'd add her to the list.Why is something wrong?"

"No she was just staring right now and I got a little creeped out but its fine"

" Are you sure I can call security to escort her out"

"No really it's fine"

"If you say so"

After that Joselyn invited me to dance and while I was having fun I couldn't help but be creeped out because I kept locking eyes with that girl I thought maybe she knows me from somewhere but I didn't remember her. After a while I wasn't comfortable so I asked Joselyn to go talk to her for me and ask why she keeps staring and Joselyn went.

While they were talking I was staring at them from afar and the girl kept looking past Joselyns shoulder and locking eyes with me Joselyn laughed a few times and the girl would smile I really wanted to know what the conversation was and after a few minutes Joselyn finally walked up and said

"She totally has a crush on you"

"What?"

"Yeah! she said she couldn't take her eyes off you and she apologizes for scaring you she's really funny you should go talk to her!"

"No way she could be a murder for all I know"

"She seems really familiar but I can't remember where from I told her that and she said she didn't know me but I swear i've seen her maybe she lives near us"

"Did you ask her name?"

"Yeah she told me but.. I kind of forgot I think it started with a G hm or a J oh yes she said her name was Jessica!"

✭ I wonder where Joselyn remembers her from??
