Once upon a time there were 4 kingdoms.
The Kingdom of Nyxghett, or the Midnight Kingdom. It is the last remaining kingdom with a monarchy and was known as one of the most organized and the most advanced civilizations in existence. It was also widely known, however, for its strict rules and harsh monarchs.
Endirisania, otherwise known as the Wilderness Kingdom, is pure anarchy. There are some towns but they are few and far inbetween. Endirisania is where magic comes from though.
It's the land of fae and sorcery.
The Kingdom of Schbailar, aka the Stone Kingdom, is a place where legality is questionable.
From the elitist leaders in a biased democracy to the highest poverty and crime levels in the world.
Delphstratopia is the happy middle of the four kingdoms. It's neither the highest in wealth, in technological advancement, or in magic.
However it's not the lowest in any of these things either.
With an actually fair and functioning democracy and justice system as well as low poverty and crime rates.
That's why it's gotten the stereotype of the land of happily-even-after or that anyone from there is automatically supposed to be super nice.
