I could remember this day vividly. The day, my life seemed to finally come to end (metaphorically of course) Me and my little brother were known to be pick-pocketers. Yeah, we're a bunch of assholes. But Is it really our fault? Our parents died before my little bro could actually get to speak or see them.
All I could say is...They got introuble with the wrong people. But anyways, my name is Y/N and my little bro's name is Kare. I named him that since my parents couldn't, cause you know.
We have 3 friends named Armin, Mikasa and Eren. They were our best buds. Armin was chill and intellegent, there was nothing wrong with him. Mikasa, well...You wouldn't want to mess with her guy. And by 'guy' I meant Eren. She's always so overprotective of him. I wonder why.
Now, Eren. He was okay?? He was just sooo ambitious. He always yells some crap about exterminating Titans and shit. I never really got why he hated titans even though he never got to see one. Well that all changed when...
The story begins..
"Y/N, How much money have we earned from pick-pocketing today?" Kare asked. "500 bucks." Disappointing. We hoped that we could atleast get more than that for rent and food. "Kare, what are we supposed to do??" I groaned in frustration. Kare had an idea.. A terrible idea. "Y/N, You've done so much for us both...Maybe you should rest a bit and I'll take care of it." I smiled at my little brother. He was truly the kindest kid in the world. He was the best brother I've ever asked for. "You mind If i could hang out Eren and the others?" I asked my little bro.
"Sure, why not".
I wished will all my heart I didn't leave him alone that time. I went to Eren and the others when they were playing around. "Y/N!" Armin yelled, hinting for me to come join them. "Y/N, look at this! It's amazing isn't it" Eren said as he pointed at the picture in the book. "The sea?.." "NOT JUST THE SEA" he exclaimed. I rolled my eyes and said "You guys are so obsessed with exploring the outside world. We're comfortable enough living these walls." I sat down next to Armin and realized something.. "Hey guys.. Where's mikasa?" I asked. Eren looked down and said "Ehhh... she's busy with something." I sighed. "Aww man, she seemed like the only sane one here :((" I said jokingly. But they didn't seem to care.
"You don't understand..You know how much land we haven't discovered yet just cause we're trapped inside these walls?" Armin and Eren shouted. "Okay, okay. Geez." And then I heared someone walking behind me. "Y/n." I looked behind and saw MIKASA!
"MIKASAAAAA" I screamed. "Y'KNOW HOW MUCHHHH I MISSED YA???" Mikasa giggled and spoke in a low tone "Hey, we talked yesterday.." I laughed.
"Hey Mika-" Eren got interrupted at the sound of the shaking. The ground started to rumble and shake. "What the?" We all said, loudly. Is it an earthquake? If so then why does it seem out of the ordinary. It feels like something worse is about to happen. Then, the screams of people echoed through the land. We all then turned to the walls that protected throughout all our lives from titans. A colossal was there! We were all in shock and couldn't move. And then... I realized that Kare was in danger! I quickly ran away from the group and headed towards our home. When all of a sudden.. multiple titans began to spread around our home which caused the roof to crumble and fall.
