Lalit was 12 when his father passed away. His uncles and other relatives saw this as an opportunity to grab their disputed property. This resulted in never-ending torture and trauma.

Lalit's mom was a teacher. But she was a lonely woman. There was no one left to count on. So, she decided to move back with her parents, to Delhi.

This was a life-changing moment for Lalit. He could focus on being a normal child, after all these years.

As a hard-working man, he obtained his PhD in mechanics. And went on to do a normal job.

He had no intention to do anything special. He just wanted to take care of his mother, who was getting old and sick.

But one day, a few unknown men had an offer for Lalit. They wanted someone to design their weapons, which were futuristic at the time.

Lalit resisted. But when these unknown people, clarified his doubts, he was happy to work.

He was working for the intelligence department. A secret wing under the government, assisted the army to develop indigenous weapons.

Lalit worked for 10 years as a scientist. During this, he developed other skills, which helped the department to solve unknown and threatening cases.

Thus, he got a promotion to a special investigator.

Now in his fifties, he was planning to get retired. But his destiny won't allow it.

He had been ordered to proceed along to Mumbai, to solve a case, which was predicted as a serial killer.

50 dead bodies were found within two months. And nobody had any clue about the killer.

-

The case was tricky. For the first time, Lalit had to deal with a psychopath. It was an unknown territory. He had been busy with spies and international terrorists, but how could he solve this case?

The government was under pressure. Even after sending the best of the officers to catch the killer, it failed. Some of them were already dead.

Mr Naik was the director of crime and security. He had strict orders from the centre to close this case as soon as possible.

Lalit sensed the stress on Mr Naik's face. He had to do something.

" Welcome to Mumbai Dr Lalit! We are happy to see you. I know, you don't deal with such cases, but we need your expertise. You can do anything you want, just catch the killer, alive or dead. ", Mr Naik gave a brief description.

" I can understand.", said Dr Lalit. " I will give my best. You don't have to worry."

"It's good to hear, but last night, we found another body. It's a state of panic in the country. I hope we will win."

" We will." was Dr Lalit's answer. He had some confidence. This gave some hope to Mr Naik.

-

Inspector Pari was appointed as an assistant director to Dr Lalit. She was more than excited.

She had been working all alone in this case. Her other subordinates died or were rather killed. This had given a big blow to their morale.

But when she heard of Dr Lalit, she was more than excited. She prepared her reports on all the murders to date.

One thing that made this killer more dangerous. The killer would target people who belonged to the police or any such department. This was a kind of revenge.

Another thing that made Inspector Pari special, was the fact that she was able to catch the killer, but couldn't hold him longer. All she could see were his eyes.

-

Dr Lalit arrived at the crime scene. Inspector Pari went to welcome and brief him about the scenario. But as she looked at his face, she became pale.

Was this Lalit? Because his eyes matched precisely with the killer.
