No laugh No Love
Once upon a time, in a small town, there was a man named Tom who was convinced that he was the funniest person on the planet. He would spend his days cracking jokes and puns, often to the annoyance of his friends and family. Despite his penchant for humor, Tom had never been successful in love. His last few dates had ended in disaster, with his attempts at humor falling flat and leaving his partners unimpressed.
One day, while hanging out with his best friend Hellen at a local coffee shop, Tom spotted a woman who caught his eye. Her name was Jessica , and she was sitting alone at a table, reading a book. Tom decided to make his move and approached her, determined to win her over with his charm.
“Excuse me, miss, but I couldn’t help but notice you from across the room. I just wanted to come over and say hello,” he said, flashing his signature smile.
Jessica looked up from her book and gave him a polite smile. “Hello,” she said, somewhat awkwardly.
Tom launched into his usual routine of jokes and puns, but to his surprise, Jessica didn’t seem impressed. In fact, she seemed downright uninterested in his attempts at humor. Undeterred, Tom decided to try a different approach.
“So, what brings you to this coffee shop?” he asked, hoping to strike up a conversation.
“I come here to read,” Jessica replied, gesturing to her book.
Tom was momentarily thrown off by her straightforward answer, but he decided to roll with it. They ended up talking for hours, discussing everything from their favorite books to their childhood memories. As the night wore on, Tom found himself falling for Jessica ’s wit and intelligence, and he was determined to win her over.
Over the next few weeks, Tom and Jessica went on a series of dates. They visited museums, went on long walks, and even took a cooking class together. Despite their differences in humor, Tom and Jessica found that they had a lot in common, and they quickly became inseparable.
One night, while they were out on a date at a comedy club, Tom decided to try out a new joke he had been working on. “Why did the chicken cross the playground?” he asked, grinning from ear to ear.
“I don’t know, why?” Jessica replied, looking amused.
“To get to the other slide!” Tom exclaimed, gesturing wildly.
Jessica burst out laughing, and Tom felt a rush of satisfaction. He had finally managed to make her laugh, and it felt like a victory. From that moment on, Tom and Jessica ’s relationship only grew stronger. They laughed together, supported each other, and explored the world together.
One day, Tom decided to take Jessica on a surprise trip to a theme park. As they rode rollercoasters and ate cotton candy, Tom realized that he had never been happier in his life. He knew that Jessica was the one he wanted to spend the rest of his life with.
That night, as they watched the fireworks display at the park, Tom turned to Jessica and took her hand. “Jessica , I know we haven’t been together for very long, but I can’t imagine my life without you. Will you do me the honor of becoming my wife?”
Jessica looked at him, her eyes shining with tears. “Yes, Tom,” she said, throwing her arms around him. “Yes, I will marry you.”
Tom and Jessica were married the following year, in a ceremony that was filled with laughter and joy. They exchanged vows and promises, surrounded by their loved ones. As they danced their first dance as husband and wife, Tom felt like he was on top of the world. He had found the love of his life, and he had finally made her laugh
