Just Enemies (Original Story)

Monsters.

The rest of the school day passed quickly without incident and Lena went to the bus stop. She made it home and went on the computer although her mom hadn't allowed her to have a Facebook because she worried about predators. Lena chose to respect her moms wishes besides MSN was just as fun and Lena talked a bit with friends while listening to Cascada and watching AMVs on YouTube. It was how she found music she loved. Her favourite pairing was Naruto and Hinata with her guilty pleasure being Inuyasha and Kagome.

In another household though Tanya was talking about Yelena to her friend Diane over Facebook messenger. She hated that Max was sat next to that fat loser and that he let her touch him,seeing Yelena tease him like that. It disgusted her as well as Diane and both talked about how that's all fat girls like her are worth. Tommy asked his fraternal twin sister what had her typing so furiously over the computer and that's when Tanya told him what her and Diane had just made up. A great rumour to put that whale in her place.

"Did you hear that Yelena gives blowjobs for two dollars!."

"What? Really?."

"Yeah tell all the guys."

Tommy went to his room and immediately told a few guys and like that it spread like wildfire. Every guy heard except for Brandon because they didn't want him getting in the way. And at school the next day Lena came into class and sat at her desk. She dared a look at Rider but he turned toward the chalk board with a disgusted look on his face. Brandon was in the bathroom and Lena felt all eyes on her and she felt cold,she wanted to throw up because of how the boys glanced at her. Suddenly a group of boys came up to her and encircled her desk with the girls giggling and Tommy threw two dollars at her face then grabbed her hand.

"LET GO OF ME WHAT ARE YOU DOING!."

"I paid you now LETS GO."

He was yanking at her hand and his grip was so strong. Lena didn't understand what he meant by paid,she looked at the other boys who shouted other remarks like.

"Are you really giving blow jobs for two dollars!."

"Hehe I'm next."

"Me too!."

They all placed money on her desk and Lena didn't understand and that's when things blurred and their eyes. They weren't human to her anymore their eyes looked like hunter eyes,she was prey and she saw them all as monsters with red eyes and suddenly they blurred as a dark silhouette. A red eyed monster and she knew something bad would happen if Tommy was able to take her to the bathrooms. She began to pull against him and no one tried to help her. The other boys just maniacally laughed and pushed her toward the door.

"LET ME FUCKING GO."

With that she was able to break free and slammed into the teachers desk. She didn't understand what was happening. What sick joke was this and what had she done to deserve this. Tommy just smiled like the devil and came toward her and she began to cry and that's when Mr.D walked in and looked confused but knew something happened. The boys dispersed and went to their desks. He took Lena outside and asked her what happened and she related to him what happened.

One by one he took each boy outside and demanded answers to this attempted assault. Lena didn't know what an assault was but she saw how scared her teacher was. She couldn't see faces, just red eyes and black silhouettes in place of the boys and girls in class.

"Lena! Lena! What happened."

"It's me! It's Brandon."

Lena tried to see through the bone chilling fear and the resulting blindness. But she was afraid to see these people. Nothing made sense but that's when she heard the teacher call two girls outside and he screamed at them and demanded they apologize and that afterward  he was taking them to the principals office.

"Yelena can you please come out here."

She made her way to the door and heard the click and let out a breath which she didn't know she was holding. She looked at Mr.D and he told the girls to begin explaining what they'd done to her.

"We...we wanted to embarrass Max so he wouldn't talk to you...we didn't like how he was close to you..."

"We both like him.."

"We made up a rumour that you give blowjobs for two dollars."

"BUT WE DID NOT THINK TOMMY WOULD TAKE IT THIS FAR."

"We just wanted to embarrass Max..."

"How did this embarrass Max? FUCK YOU BOTH!."

"WE'RE SORRY!."

"APOLOGY REJECTED."

Mr.D then took the girls to the office and told Lena to go lay down in the nurses office. Lena walked to the nurses office and she wasn't in so Lena took off her shoes and crawled into that tiny blanket and started to cry. She couldn't stop the tears and the hicks. She threw up into the sink and felt clammy like she was sick. Remembering Tommy's hand on her and the looks those guys gave her made her throw up again. She didn't  know how to deal with this. And what kind of bullshit was that with trying to embarrass Max when it was her who was hurt. She never said two words to those girls. How was she supposed to go back to class and face the kids and those boys. She began shaking thinking about it and crawled back into the bed.

"Yelena...both girls have been suspended for three days. I'm sorry it's the best I could do. But I've called you're older sister since your mom said to do that if it isn't an emergency."

"Why'd you call Kat?."

"Would you like to go home for today...I don't know if being here would help you..."

"Okay...thank you Mr.D."

"I'll go get your books and bag."
