"Y/N-chan! Good morning!" A golden haired girl with a cute bun rushed to Y/N. "How have you been? Still keeping up your scores?"

"I've been well! Thank you for your concern, Yoimiya." Y/N replied, a sincere smile forming on her face. "How about you? How's this school so far?"

The girl thinks for a moment before answering, "Ahh, this school has been great. You know, I saw lots of different people on my way here. And I must say, you all have incredibly special hair colours." Yoimiya chuckles, awkwardly.

"I've noticed. Oh! Speaking of people, did you converse with them?" The girl with snow-white hair asked, changing the topic.

Yoimiya looked down at her feet, before saying, "Well, I've spoken to this one auburn coloured hair guy. He's fun and he's also kinda my friend now. Do you know him?"

"Shikanoin Heizou. I had heard quite a lot regarding him." 

"That's great! He told me that he wants to speak to you since I told him that I was friends with you when we were younger. He said to meet you at the school garden after class!" 

I want to go home.

"Okay, sure! I'll meet him there. Thank you."

"Anytime, Y/N! ^^"

And that, Yoimiya runs off to her following class, afraid to be late.

"Y/N! I've been wanting to speak to you for a while. I am more than happy about your arrival!" A boy with auburn hair exclaimed.

Y/N looked around and enjoyed the scenery before her eyes.

The school garden is very beautiful. Especially the chrysanthemums. They are breathtaking.

"Hello, Shikanoin-san." Y/N said, bowing.

Heizou smiled.

"Talk to me."

...

"Pardon?"

"I know you're not alright. Talk to me. I know this may sound scary, but I've been noticing your concerning condition. Well actually, I just kind of pay attention to everyone."

"Well, I'm okay. Are you okay?"

"No, no you're not. Tell me the problem. And yes, thank you for asking."

The girl looked hesitant and hummed. Her eyes averting his gaze.

"This is awfully sudden, Shikanoin-san."

Heizou shakes his head, and softens his expression. "L/N, how do you feel being so perfect and earning praise? You're so, incredibly poised."

"I am aware, thank you." Y/N whispered,  silently closing her eyes and feeling the gentle breeze. "but no thank you too, I am okay. You should ask that to The Earth." Fluttering her eyes open again.

He crossed his arms, his tone of voice still soft and reassuring. Though confused about the "Earth" part. "Ah, I don't think my detective skills will fail. You are, undoubtedly, troubled mentally. Here, let's sit down near that tree to talk about it?" Heizou strongly suggested, pointing his finger towards a tree on his right.

But Y/N shook her head in response.

"I can't do that."

"Why not? Is it something incredibly personal? If it's something immoral going on, you should seek help." Heizou responded, a worrying expression unfolding on his flawless features.

"That's... That's not what I mean."

"Then?"

...

"I don't know the problem. I'm unhappy, sure. But I don't know the problem."

"And I'm not sure if I'd want to know the problem."

"I-"

just want to go home..?

The Earth was always perfect.

I wasn't the only one.
