Stuck in an Elevator

You were going to the movies with Aaron, Hayes, Shawn, Taylor, Nash, Cam, Matt and Jake. You took a separate elevator from them because you didn't want to have a fight over who rode with you. You arrived in the lobby and waited, for ten minutes.
You texted Cam and Nash "What happened to you guys?"
"The elevator got stuck" Nash replied.
Great. You waited another ten minutes and maintenance was taking way too long. You tried calling them but they didn't answer. You sent out a few snapchats too.
"You boys are posting vines I think you should answer your snaps."
They must have gotten that because less that a minute later, Nash snap chatted you. (Pic above)
After about 20 more minutes, the boys emerged from the stairway entrance.
"what happened?"
"Maintenance could only get it to move up so it opened the top half on the 6th floor." Shawn explained
"So we had to crawl out all ninja style!" Cam exclaimed before making up an awful interpretation of ninja moves.
You laughed.
"Well it's too late for the movie. What do you boys want to do?"
"I saw a really awesome laser tag and go kart track a few blocks down. We could pay the same amount as we would've to see the Poltergeist." Jake suggested.
"You all up for it?" Cam questioned, earning multiple agreements. You got a piggyback ride from Matt and all walked to the building.
The teams were:
Y/N- Matt- Taylor
Hayes- Nash- Cam
Aaron- Jake- Shawn
The laser tag went down with a tie between you and Cam's team so, to break the tie, you and Hayes faced off with Go-Karts.  You won easily, due to your wreckless driving and Hayes carefulness to get in your path.
You all arrived back at the hotel and when you had to decide between the working elevator and the stairs, hands down it all went to the stairs.
