your pov I woke up with a familiar arm around my waist. I turned around to see my beautiful girlfriend, Maggie. I smiled as her face shimmered in the sunlight. I was so lucky to be with a woman like Maggie. Her eyes slowly started to open. Then she smiled when she noticed I was looking at her.
"Goodmornin" she says with her country accent.
"Goodmorning " I say with a smile.
Today was going to be a long ass day. All I wanted to do was stay in bed and cuddle Maggie. We laid there for a few minuets, until Hershel started crying.
A/N you and Maggie got together around the time after Hershel was born
Maggie and I got up, she went to go get Hershel while I got dressed. I went outside to start helping breakfast. Soon after everyone ate, while kids were running around, people were starting to work, and the community was living another day. Maggie came up to me and said that she was gathering a group to go to the Kingdom to trade, and that she was going with them.
"I'm coming with you then." I said.
"Alright go pack we might need to stay the night." she told me.
~Time skip to them leaving~
Its been a few hours since we left. Nothing interesting really came up on the way. We pulled up to the Kingdoms gates. Me and Maggie went over to King Ezekiel and Carol.
"Hi Carol!" I said while I gave her a hug.
"Hello Y/N" she said hugging back.
Carol was basically a mom figure for me, since I never really had one. Anyways we were setting out all of our blacksmith works, and fruits and veggies. They gave us gas, toilet paper, extra clothes, and some screws and nails. It was already about 5 so our group decided that we should stay the night and leave first thing in the morning.
We had dinner, then it was time for bed. Maggie and I got dressed and went in bed and already started to cuddle.
