"I'm free today, no one will be over later and I don't have any plans," Ram said over the phone to Crow.
"Alright, I'll be there in 5," Crow responds, noises in the background of their side of the call sounding suspiciously like someone getting into a car.
"I- wait- you're gonna- right now?" Ram sputtered.
"Hell yes 'right now'," Crow said mischievously, smile evident in their voice, "I'm not wasting this chance I have to hang out with you."
Ram sighed, "Okay, but you're not staying here past midnight."
"Is that a challenge?"
"No- it's not a- never mind it's not worth it, trying to tell you otherwise," Ram sighed again, their ear flicking, they had a feeling they'd be doing that a lot.
"Anyways! I have to focus on the road so I'll see ya soon!" Crow said before hanging up.
Ram just looked at their phone with a bored expression after Crow hung up. That didn't mean they didn't want them to come over though. In fact, they were actually looking forward to Crow being there.
Ram looked up, tracing random pictures in the popcorn ceiling while they waited for Crow to get to their house.
When someone knocked on their door they shot up and speed-walked, no they didn't run shut up, to the door before opening it.
Crow stood on the other side of the door, their wings fluffing up when they locked their eyes on Ram, "Hey Ram!"
"Crow!" Ram hugged Crow before dragging them inside and closing the front door.
"Someone's being clingy~," Crow singsonged.
"S-shut up!" Ram stuttered.
Crow giggled before leading them both over to Ram's room.
"Let's watch a movie! Do you have Netflix?"
"Yes, I have Netflix, who do you think I am?" Ram said with false offense in their voice.
Crow hummed in response before stealing Ram's remote and turning on the TV to Netflix.
They turned on some random tv show and settled down on Ram's bed after they had made some popcorn for them.
It was around 10 o'clock when they finished the show.
Ram blinked sleepily, barely registering Crow's wing around their shoulders.
"So I suppose I can only hang around for 2 more hours before you're gonna kick me out," Crow finally spoke up.
"Yup," Ram replied tiredly.
"Then I guess I'm gonna spend as much of that time with you as possible."
"Mm," Ram intelligently hummed in response.
Ram woke up slightly more when Crow grabbed their hand and pressed up against their side.
Crow's wing around them suddenly seemed more apparent than before, but they found that they didn't mind.
They blinked and looked to the right, only to find Crow staring at them with a strange look in their eyes.
"You're so adorable when you're tired," Crow said with that strange look still in their eyes.
Ram flushed when the sentence finally registered in their mind. They woke up a little more.
"I- what?" They stuttered.
Crow only smiled.
"I've always wanted to ask you this," Crow paused for a second, seemingly studying Ram's face, eyes lingering on their lips, "Can I kiss you?"
