Chapter 10

I'm 12 weeks pregnant today (3 months) me and Brantley are great and we have a obgyn appointment today. I ate cereal for breakfast because it doesn't make me sick. "Baby are you ready to go check on our peanut?" Brantley asks me as I'm putting my phone in my back pocket. "Yes babe I'm ready lets go" I say walking out the door. He opens my door for me and helps me in. He gets in the drivers seat and off we go.

We pull up outside the doctor office and Brantley opens my door for me and helps me out. He holds open the door for me to go in and walks with me hand and hand to the counter. "We have a appointment with Dr.Adcock at 10am" Brantley says. "Oh yes Addy...correct?" the nurse ask. "Yes ma'am" he says and we go sit down. 10 mins later a nurse calls for us and we walked back as she weighs me I have only gained 5 pounds but at least its something.

She leads us to a room and checks my bp which is great like always. Then she says the doctor will be in soon. Brantley was on Twitter when the doctor comes in and of course they shake hands and he hugs me. "How are you feeling Addy?" Dr.Adcock ask. "Still have morning sickness but not as bad and I get a headache everyday" I tell him. "That's all normal. No bleeding, cramps or swelling?" He ask. "No sir none" I say smiling. "Good well go ahead lay back and lift your shirt we are going to listen to the heartbeat" he says smiling at me. I do as I'm told and Brantley stands to hold my hand. Dr.Adcock puts gel on my stomach and places the monitor on my belly soon we hear the heartbeat. I look up at Brantley and he is smiling from ear to ear...proud daddy.

Dr.Adcock wipes the gel off and helps me up. "Everything sounds and looks good. When you come back in four weeks we can tell you the sex" he says writing down notes in my chart. We head out and make my next appointment and off to lunch we go.
