The Girl in the Painting

"Hey guys, do you know the story about the girl in the painting", Sandra said.

She told us that it is a very interesting story.

"Okay so, One time there is a girl with her hands full, a phone, a book, a milktea, and her wallet.

She is walking while reading and eating, in the park, around Manila.

You wanna know what book she is reading?

It's called "Not A Coincidence", it's a very interesting story, but, She suddenly bumper onto someone, "ouch!" Is what the girl said, The man she bumped into just frowned at her angrily, and then she apologized, The man didn't care about her and walked right pass her, she got pissed.

Then she punched him in the back, surprising the man turned around and told her off "What's your problem, Miss?", then the man went shocked, The man suddenly asked her, "Aren't you the girl in the painting?", Well she got confused and so she asked him " What painting?", he then replied "The PAINTING at the museum, You look exactly like her.", she just laughed out loud making everyone around them weirded out.

"You know what, Sir. I just wanted to apologize and you pissed me off, and now you're telling me that I look like a girl in a painting?" She said with a voice kinda creeped out, "I'm not lying seriously, and about earlier, It's nothing." He replied.

The two of them stared into each other for a while without breaking the silence.

When suddenly they heard a camera just clicked. 

"ka-chak!",

"Hey why are taking my-"

"Aren't you the girl in the painting." The stranger said.

The girl is starting to freak out, because she already been asked the same question twice.

"Sir, I don't know what you are talking about." She replied.

"What??!? Isn't she the girl in the painting??!?" bunch of people said. Right then, she saw some security guards going to them, when the man suddenly pulled her arm and ran off making the guards chase after them.

"Why are they chasing us?!?" The girl said with a voice like running out of breath. "I don't know, but I think it has something to do with the painting I mentioned." He replied.

A minute passed by, and the man saw something while scrolling on his phone, looking shocked, the girl got confused.

She grabbed the phone from him, "W-what did you see? Let me take a loo-", she saw her face in the painting, looking exactly like her at the news saying that the girl in the painting is missing, not the whole painting but the girl in it.

She was scared and don't know what to do.

"You know, you need to hide, who knows what they might do to you once they caught you." The man said.

"I-i don't know what to do, H-help me! Please?!" She said to the man looking so desperate.  "Fine, I'll help you but there will be a conditions.

You must never go outside and use any gadgets, you must agree to be my muse in my paintings." The man said.

"F-fine, I agree." She replied.

Thus began the unexpected bond they made. It's been ten days of hiding and the man is gonna start to paint.

"Come here and pose something.

You need to look elegant yet simple and demure." He said.

The girl followed his instructions and made 5 paintings with 5 different poses of the girl.

Suddenly, he got a call.

"Hey, I need to give you to them. I can't take care of you anymore, the bills, the foods, and my personal space. I need them back." The man said with a cold face.

The girl was shocked and teary, "O-okay if that's what you decided to do." The girl replied.

He then gave the girl to the staff at the museum.

7 days had passed, and no sign from her except for the news that the girl in the painting returned.

The man saw the news, he looked so shocked.

Why? because he saw the girl she just talked to 7 days ago, lifeless and sad.

He got up his bed and hurried to the museum, he saw that the girl really returned, but he got confused, up until 7 days ago the people are panicking and happy when the girl is found, but not they don't even care about the painting.

He then realized that the girl in the painting is a real person, it is the same person he took care of. He realized that they k*ll*d her so that she can return to the painting.

They sacrificed a life just to make the painting complete again.

He then regretted his decision of handing her to them. His conscience ate him up. He decided to go home and he started to paint dozens of images of the girl in painting.

Making him live his life realizing that he will never be free from her."

"That's the end of the story, whew, it's hard to talk straight for so long huh." Sandra said again.

"Well it was rather a creepy story than interesting." the other guy saud.

"Rumor said that the painting is still there and it has its own room including the other paintings from the man." Sandra said.

"Yeah, I saw it." The girl said.

But, the girl looked like the girl in the painting.
