Silence

I hear the screams of silent things,

But I know they don't have voices,

I hear the screams of silent things,

The screeching and the noises.

I know they're being tortured,

By the screaming and the howls,

I know they're being tortured,

But for what? I'm asking now.

These lifeless things have souls, you see,

I know they try to speak to me,

These lifeless things have souls, you see,

I know they're slowly killing me.

Why do I here the things I hear?

The frozen screams of violence,

Why do I hear the things I hear?

When all you hear is silence.
