10 years later.

"Hey Atan, wait up!" Tsyal shouts.
"You're too slow!" Atan shouts back as he's walking ahead of him, through the forest.

Tsyal was now 14 and Atan was 15.

As Atan was walking, he stopped, noticing there were some boys ahead of him.
They turn to look at him and he smiles.
They smile back at him and he waves, instantly regretting it as he sees the look on their face.

He turns around to walk the other way.
"Hey wait!" One of the boys calls out.
He turns his head slightly, and then his body follows, facing the direction of the boy.

He walks to him, with his two friends following behind.
"What?" Atan says sternly.
"Why are you alone? Do you not have any friends?" He asks.
Atan looks down feeling embarrassed.
The boys start laughing at him.

"Of course he doesn't have any friends" One of them says.
"He's a half breed" another says. They all laugh again.
"Hey, idiots" they hear Tsyal speak as she's walking forward.

"Oh my" one of them says as he admires her beauty.
She walks towards them.
"What's going on?" Tsyal asks, standing next to Atan.
"Don't stand too close pretty girl. He's a half breed" he says to her, and looks back to his mates smirking.
To him, he seemed confident that he looked good.

"Let's get two things straight" Tsyal speaks with her arms crossed.
They turn to look at her.
"My name is Tsyal. Tsyal Sully. Not pretty girl" she says to them.
The boys look at one another in shock
"This is Atan. Atan Sully. My brother" Tsyal says to them.

"Wait. You guys are Sully's?" They ask.
"Well no shit Sherlock. My grandpa was the first half breed here" Tsyal states the obvious, "Now. apologise to my brother."
"Excuse me?" The boy says to her.
Tsyal hisses at them.

"Tsyal it's fine" Atan says, still looking down.
But Tsyal doesn't take that.
"Now!" She shouts at them.
"Hey I'm sorry" One of the boys say.
"All of you" Tsyal says.
"We're sorry" the two behind say.

"Good. Now get lost" Tsyal tells them. They walk away in the other direction.
"Those skxawng's" Tsyal mutters under her breath.
"Thankyou" Atan thanks his younger sister.
"Hey we have each others back. Always. Just like how mother and father have taught us" Tsyal says, giving him a side hug.
-
"Ro'a!" Lo'ak shouts after she throws a rock at him and runs off to Ri'a. They both laugh, running around in circles.
"Both of you get here. Now" he says.
"So much for discipline, they don't even listen" Neteyam says.

"Do you want me to call your mother?" Lo'ak asks.
They stop running and stand still, "no!" They both say.
"Ha! Works every time, they're scared to death of her" Lo'ak says to Neteyam.
"Call me for what?" Ni'awtu walks in to the mauri.
"Ah! Ni'awtu, my love" Lo'ak says, giving a nervous chuckle.

Ni'awtu sees the rock on the floor and looks at Lo'ak's face, seeing it a bit red.
She looks to Ro'a and Ri'a.
"Ro'a. Ri'a. Here, now" she sits down and calls them to come in front of her.

They both stand in front of Ni'awtu.
"How many times have I told you about hitting your father and teasing him" Ni'awtu says.
"This isn't the first time?" Neteyam whispers to Lo'ak.
Lo'ak looks at him embarrassed.

"Sorry mamma" Ro'a and Ri'a both say at the same time.
"Go apologise to your father" Ni'awtu says.
They walk to Lo'ak, "sorry father" they both say.
Lo'ak smiles, putting one arm around Ro'a and one arm around Ri'a, pulling them both in for a hug.

"Now that is over" Ni'awtu says, "guess who made you necklaces!"
Ro'a and Ri'a run back to Ni'awtu, excited.
"You made it for us?" Ro'a asks.
Ni'awtu nods, "i made a necklace with a purple stone for you. And a pink stone for Ri'a."
