Authors note:

This is the first time I've been very serious about writing a fan fiction. My writing is not amazing but hopefully it's at least readable.

You groaned as you laid down on your bed face flat. Your shift starts in 2 hours and you're beginning to grow anxious. You can't believe what you've heard through your training; Anomalies, monsters and shit that can end the world?! It sounds very unreal but here you are and you're classified as one of them.. You got up grogerly and got up from your bed staggering to the light switch to turn it on. Once you turned it on you turned right to your length body mirror and saw yourself. Your hair was all over the place, tangled and dried saliva on your chin. You definitely look like a mess. No one wants to look like crap on their first day of work..

An hour passed while you were getting ready. you put on tights, a pin up skirt, black high heels, and a white button up blouse that's tucked in loosely. You decided to style your hair and put some makeup on to hide the fact you didn't sleep. You put on your favorite earrings and quickly walked to your mirror. You're ready for the day that awaits you.

You're on your way to the cafeteria and you see eyes piercing at you. The researchers seem to be whispering about something about you but no matter, it's not really bothering anyways. You grabbed your breakfast for the day and sat down at the farthest table from everybody. You were about to take a bite out of your fluffy warm eggs until someone slams their hand on the table. You jump and look up at the person who surprised you and startled you. It was Dr. Bright, that idiot.
"Hey Dr. (L/n)! Fancy seeing you here~ How are you feeling at your new job?" He quickly sat down and rests his hand on his chin. "Dear god Mr. Bright.. you scared me!" You exclaimed, putting your hand on your chest. "Other than people staring at me, I'm doing okay so far. I'm still very nervous for my first day..."
Dr. Bright grins, "Well you don't get to see an SCP working as a psychologist everyday. Can you really blame them? I've seen a lot of rookies and they do fine- well some of them end up dead but hey, That's how life goes!"
You look at him with a concerned look but shook it off. "Uh... You're right but it's still odd of them. They should mind their business." You crossed your arms.
"That's just how things are. I mean, people talk shit about me all the time. It's not really a big deal.."
"Well look at the time! I gotta go head out and do some boring shit. See ya later (y/n)!" And just like that, Dr. Bright left in a hurry. He seems to annoy you. You don't show it but you kind of do have a grudge on him for reporting you to the scp foundation when you were at your most vulnerable. You can't remember what exactly you were running from but you bumped into Dr. Bright in public. It appears that your hair and eyes change color when you're distressed. That was enough to get you kidnapped and guarantee that you were now either reported dead or missing all because of the scp foundation. They found out where you lived and what your occupation was but they couldn't find out what led you to bump into Dr. Bright that night. They decided that you were safe and reliable since they were looking for an experienced mental health professional to research on the anomaly's in their care. You look down at your food and look at it with a dissatisfying look. Great.. my food is fucking cold cause of that annoying prick
You continued eating your now-cold breakfast and looked at your clipboard with your assigned tasks:

-Psychological Analysis on
-SCP 999

-SCP 507 (if you find him)

-assist Dr. Munchkin
