Joana Brown was 21 when she decided to leave Chicago to risk it all in Los Angeles. Recently graduated from culinary school, she crashed on a friend's couch while working her way through high end restaurants, only to find out that life wasn't for her. She then decided to venture as a personal chef, which was how, a couple years later, she ended up in Oscar Isaac's kitchen.
