Getting closer I realize that it is Christelle who was being transported in the ambulance. Her face was full of blues and was so disfigured that I had a hard time believing it was her.

I dropped everything and rushed to her to see her better. When I reached the door of the ambulance don't know why but it suddenly got dark.

I think I passed out because I woke up in a hospital room with my parents next to my bed. Yes both. I too was shocked. The doctor obviously said it was nothing serious, just the shock, adrenaline rush and lack of nutrition.

Don't judge me, School is hard.

After an hour, I was allowed out. As I got ready to go out I see Christelle's name on a door next to mine and there I remembered why my adrenaline was rising.

When I enter her room, I see her mother in tears in front of her bed. She was hooked up to respirators, I couldn't help it and I burst into tears and ran to Christelle's mom's arms. We stayed like that for about 3hours.

After reassuring my parents, I went back to Christelle's room, and I was shocked by what Aunt Mikaela told me.

In fact, after we left school, Christelle was too occupied tidying up the room to notice that Mr. Gringo the new physics teacher was watching her.

And when he saw us leaving, he entered the room, blocked her access to the door and forced himself on her violently. This pervert raped her, hit her and called her degrading names. When he finished, he left her for dead until the morning where the gate keeper found her. He did all this without knowing that there were surveillance cameras everywhere.

Currently he is on the run and research by the police, but Christelle still hasn't woken up. I was the most affected by all of this after her parents. She was my best friend after all. We lived next to a psychopath and no one suspected it.

Three weeks have passed since but I couldn't get out of my room, I was scared, traumatized. My mother had to homeschool me. The more the days passed and the more depressed I got, Christelle was still in a coma and Jeremy was trying to cheer me up despite also being so affected.

You may think I'm overreacting, but i'm an 18 year old sheltered girl who didn't know the severity of the world we lived in can turn out like this.

After a month and a half, Christelle was finally awake, when I found out, to hell with my fear, I rushed to see her at the hospital.
