Jupiter

the morning

Jupiter hears their father calling them this is the way they get up every morning they don't have a clock so it cant ring to wake them. he gets out of their bed and looks at the date its nothing special but they like to look at the date to see what the position of the planets are. they walk to the kitchen and make their self cereal then sits next to their father. "how was your night did you see any comets" their father asks as he does every morning because before they go to bed they look at space to see anything cool or abnormal. "no it was just stars" they smile as they eat the last bit of their cereal they don't try to finish quickly because grant their father home schools them.

"i'm thinking of letting you study space for most of today" his father says smiling "thanks dad" they exclaimed as they walked to the kitchen to put the bowl in the sink. Jupiter goes to their bedroom to read and watch the stars and planets. first they decide to read a book on how the suns radiation doesn't burn everyone to a crisp. they have read this book enough times they have memorized the words on every page. and it just doesn't amuse them anymore and they have read every book on the shelf so they go to ask their dad if they can bike to the store.  

the store

"dad can i bike to the store for new books" their father turns his head away from his news paper "yeah if you have your own money" "thanks dad. they bike to the store its a small local book store in Austin Texas they know one of the owners which helped them come out to their parents. the bell rings as they walk in and he is welcomed by the owner he knows who is called olive a young girl who goes by she/they pronouns. "hey in for some space books again" "yeah have you gotten any new ones in" she goes to look at the section next to the stairs "actually yes we have one about why the roman's named their gods after the planets". "its something i definitely need to read!" they exclaim "nice hope its good also how have you been".

"i have been good mom still isn't home" "well i hope she gets home soon" they look at each other and they take the book. "i hope i'm back soon to see you again" "yeah me too".

study time

when they get home they begin to read the book and study Jupiter the god and the planet and learn more about the other roman gods and goddesses. this was a very enlightening experience that was almost like a window into the life of the ancient roman's. one thing they learned was that roman's created and discovered a lot of the things we use and believe today. one thing being the democratic government most western civilizations use. after they finished reading they closed the book and put it back on the shelf and saw that it was already dinner.

night

they had rice and chicken for dinner the chicken was dry and the rice was still kinda hard which made dinner hard to eat. "dad why is dinner overcooked" "sorry i'm not in the right head space go get something from the fridge and eat it in your room if you want" "thanks dad i hope you are better tomorrow". they walk to their room and eat the frozen pizza they got from the fridge and turn on their phone.
