LIV WOKE UP TO THE SOUNDS OF FOOTSTEPS AND THE CLOSING OF A DOOR. She took in a deep breath and cracked her eyes open, feeling a heavy weight on her. Looking down, the girl realized she had woken up with JJ practically on top of her.

Somehow during the night he had moved down so his head was resting on her stomach and his arms were wrapped around her torso firmly. His legs were tangled with hers, and soft snores emitted from the boy. Liv looked to the clock on the wall to see that they had slept in well past ten.

Bringing a hand up from its limp position on the bed, she raked her fingers through JJ's hair as softly as she could. He stirred a bit, but didn't fully wake up. Slowly, Liv tried to scoot out of the blond's grasp. Before she could move more than an inch, JJ's grasp on her tightened and he let out a groan of protest. "I'm comfy. Stay," His words were muffled from Liv's shirt, and his voice was raspy with sleep.

With a soft smile, Liv resumed playing with his hair until she felt his breathing become even again. Then she tried to escape his hold, and this time she succeeded. She felt bad leaving, so she grabbed a pillow and placed it next to the boy, watching as he snuggled into that instead. Leaning down to hover over the blond, Liv placed a kiss on his forehead.

The girl turned and moved to the door, leaving the room as quietly as possible. Sighing, she walked to the main area of the house and found Kiara sitting at the coffee table. "Morning," She spoke, a small smirk on her face.

"Morning?" Liv replied, her tone skeptical. Kiara motioned for her to take a seat, then picked up her phone and tapping it a couple times. The curly-haired girl placed her phone on the table and slid it over to Liv then crossed her arms.

On Kiara's phone was a picture of Liv and JJ not even twenty minutes prior. They laid in the bed sleeping soundly, JJ's head on Liv's stomach with his limbs wrapped securely around her. The redhead blushed furiously as she quickly pushed the phone back over. Liv placed her hands over her face as she leaned forward on her elbows. "You two have been awfully close, huh?"

Liv rolled her eyes as she removed her hands from her face and sat back in her chair. "It's not like that," She mumbled as she fiddled with her new ring. "He's been having a rough time, you know that."

As Liv's gaze lifted to meet Kiara's, she noticed how her friend was staring at the shiny new ring on Liv's finger. "I get it. But uh, where'd you get that ring from? That's new." Kiara tilted her head as she spoke, acting confused.

The redhead groaned, reluctantly giving in to her best friend's suspisions. "Okay, fine. JJ gave it to me last night." Kiara's face lit up at the girl's reveal. "Look, Kie, I..."

The mood seemed to shift as Liv's words got caught in her throat. Kiara reached across the table, grabbing one of Liv's hands. "Hey, what's wrong? I'm sorry for teasing, Liv. You can tell me anything, you know."

Liv nodded, taking in a deep breath. She said quietly, "I think I like him."

"What?"
