It was the beginning of Silva's new life. She had just graduated from college and wanted to start a new life.

       Silva's POV

I was at my parent's house getting the last of my things before I left to go to my new apartment. My mom was tearing up and my dad was just really sad that he had to let his little girl go off to live her life. I smiled at them and gave them a big hug. My mom handed me some cash and I left.

I had just gotten a Mercedes Benz. Don't get jealous, I'm just cool like that. I was obsessed with Betty Boop. I had  a little key chain of her on my window. Any way back to the story, I had gotten to my apartment and put the rest of the stuff down and saw a note under my door mat. I open it and it read: I saw you at Starbucks. You are really pretty call me sometime at 123-400-2039. I smiled and just went
to lay on the couch. I sat and watched Scandal and fell asleep.

I was awoken by a knock on the door and a man was standing there. " Hi i'm Destin and I was the one and yes I admit it, that I wrote that note." He was handsome but I wasn't too sure about him yet. Putting a note under someone's doorstep isn't the right way to try and be "romantic." I told him hi and asked him what he wanted. He wanted to hang out with me Friday night at the movies. Well after all I am lonely in this 3 bedroom apartment.

I told him sure and gave him my number. After he left I slammed the door and quickly  wondered what the heck did I just do. I fricking gave my phone number to some guy I don't even know like he could be a stalker or something. I decided to shake it off, ( don't mention the song.) and went to bed.

I woke up and got a text.

D: Hi did you just wake up

S: Um ya. Can you text me later?

D: Ok don't take too long.

That was awkward. I went to the shower, threw on my work clothes, and headed off to work. I got a job as a veterinarian. As soon as I walked in, some little kid came to me with a hamster that didn't look too good. He waved it in my face and it smelled like straight up crap. I ran in, checked in, put on some gloves. I took care of that hamster if you know what I mean.

Silva returned home and this time found flowers. She wasn't too sure about this guy but something was going on.
