Hailee's POV

I stayed for hours inside my car crying and my phone was blowing up with Cara's calls. I just turned it off not wanting to answer her. I waited to regain my energy then decided to go to the coffee shop that me and Y/N went.

Y/N's POV

It was almost 9 in the evening and I was at the coffee shop grabbing my favorite drink. There were only few people inside since the shop was about to close, so I stepped outside. When I got out of the shop I saw Hailee sitting on the side of the road just right infront of the shop. I heard her sniffing and I knew something was wrong and why was she sitting there.

"Hailee?" I slowly called. She looked up to me not geeting up.

"Oh, Hi Y/N." She answered. I stood beside her.

"What are you doing here?and why are you sitting down here ?"I asked.

"Uhm is the shop closing?" Hailee asked and I knew she was just changing the subject. I noticed her eyes were swollen red. She must be crying.

"Yes, store hours is only until 9 pm." I answered and she nodded. I sat beside her and looked at her.

"Are you alright? Were you crying?" I asked , then she looked at me.

"Y/N can you stay with me here for a while?"she asked.

"Sure, but of you have to tell me what's going on."I added.

"Remember when I told you about Cara cancelling our dates?" Hailee started.

"Of course." I answered.

"Well it turned out she's been cheating on me." She said and I felt sorry for her. That's the reason why she was crying.

"Oh I'm so sorry it happened to you." I said ang I put my hand on her back trying to relieve her.

"This morning I made her favorite then went to her trailer to surprise her but one of the staff said Cara wasn't there and the filming was done a week ago, and I started to doubt her. So I went to her house but when I got there. I----...I..----" Hailee told me and she couldn't finish it and she was about to burst into tears again.

"Shhh, Calm down. You don't have to tell me." I said and soothed her back.

"I caught her fucking some girl in her bed." She continued and cried so hard. I didn't know what to say so I just engulfed her with a hug. I let her cried on my shoulder. What on earth would someone do that to her.

"It's okay Hailee, You don't deserve someone like her okay? One day you will find someone who will truly love you and see your worth. Someone who will treat you the way you supposed to be treated." I tried to comfort her and I hoped it'll work.
We stayed for a moment like that until she stopped crying. She broke from my embrace and looked at me.

"Thank you Y/N, it means so much to me. I'm sorry for running into you like this." Hailee said and I tried to put on a smile for her.

"It's okay, I'm a friend Hailee. You can tell me anything." I assured her and she was now smiling.

"There it is, now you're smiling. We don't want to ruin that pretty face of yours , will we?" I said and she playfully hit my arm. We both laughed and stayed there for a moment just talking some stuff. I tried to talk things that'll make her forget about what happend that day.

Minutes later, it started to pour light rain. People already went inside. I had a better idea but I hoped she'll join the fun.

"I think we should go." Hailee said.

"No, we're not going anywhere." I replied and she looked at me confused.

"What? Y/N it's raining." She said and I stood up.

"Dance with me." I said and offered my hand to her.

"No, I'm not dancing here with you." Hailee argued but I didn't seem to care.

"Come on, let's dance. It'll be fun I promise." I pulled her up to the middle of the street. Good thing there weren't cars around.

I held her waist and started to sway with her. She looked really embarassed with me dancing so I started to sing "Nothin' Like You by Dan + Shay".

🎤I remember when I first met you
Sipping coffee in a corner booth
You were twirling your hair
And I just had to stare
For a minute or two
I was laughing at your stack of books
Then you shot me that smile
Hey beautiful girl, in your own little world
And me in it🎤

She was starting to get comfortable . So I twirled her around and she put her hand on my shoulder while I hold the other. She was smiling at me while I was singing to her.

🎤You got all of my attention
And you ain't even trying
Yeah, you're my kind of different
And I never seen nothin'🎤

Then the rain got heavier but we both didn't care as we were dancing under the rain with no music just enjoying with each other. We both danced in the rain and laughed. I was spinning her around and I could see she was also enjoying it. She was now laughing and playing along with me and I hoped it'll help her forget the pain even just this time.

🎤Nothin' like you
Shades on spinning in a summer rain
Dancing in the rain no music
Just the right kind of crazy, baby
Something about you
Rocking that rock 'n roll t-shirt
We're at a party dressed up
But you just doing your thing
Ain't nobody ever seen nothin' like you

As soon as I finished singing, we stopped and looked at each other and we were soaking wet. I stared at her an she still looked so beautiful even after those crying. Since the rain got heavier , we ran towards the sidewalk to shed ourselves.

"That was awesome Y/N." Hailee said and we were laughing.

"Told you it'll be fun ." I said.

"It is really." She answered and we smiled at each other.

"You'll be alright Hailee." I said and she slowly nodded.

We looked up to the sky and it looked like the rain will not stop.

"So I guess it's a goodnight now, don't want you to catch colds." I added.

"Yeah, but I've never done that in my life before." She said.

"Goodnight Hailee, I'll see you around okay?" I said.

"You too Y/N and thank you so much for everything." She answered back.

"No worries." I smiled.

We both went to our cars and went home. As I got home I went to get a hot shower and changed into a clean and dry clothes.

Hailee's POV

I quickly took a hot bath and changed into my night dress then went to bed. I had a great time again with Y/N and the dance under the rain was amazing and the way she sang and we danced along with it I find it romantic. I almost forgot about what Cara did to me. My pain disappeared because of Y/N. I turned on my phone and there were lots of missed calls and texts from Cara. I didn't give a damn anymore so I just turned it off again then went to sleep with the song in my head that Y/N sang under the rain.
