This is perhaps the final journal entry before I hand my project binder in to my advisor. Tomorrow, all the seniors have the mandatory work-in-progress meeting where we share what we've been working on so far. Since I'm graduating at the end of this term, I'll be describing my whole project in a nutshell, not just what I have so far. I know I've said it before, but I really hope I did well enough. When it comes to theatre, I want to give it my absolute best each and every time. There's always room for improvement, which means I can do even better than I did this time. My character development method works now, but may need to adapt as I grow in the theatrical arts. I want to give convincing performances, to make audiences believe that I'm not playing my character but that I AM my character. And most of all, I'm looking forward to putting my method to the test in the professional theatre, to see if it will hold up to the big leagues. I'm hoping it does. Until then, I need to keep developing it and accept advice from others. Giving advice is easy; taking it is the difficult part.
