The personality of Marvel and Clove are quite different. Obviously a bit of contrast can be good in a relationship. When you have too much, all you do is fight.
Okay guys, I have to bring this to your attention. Marvel was the third strongest career out of the five in the novel. I'm quite sure he was eighteen. You have to frown apon that in some way. How can you ship an eighteen year old and a fifteen/ fourteen year old. Let alone the fact that Clove is ranked stronger than Marvel. That would be really embarrassing for Marvel if you ask me.
Marvel was describes by Katniss as "Not the sharpest tool in the shed."
Wow. What a compliment guys. He hunger Games wiki actually says Marvel showed the same arrogance as his fellow careers but lacked the ruthless discipline showed by Cato and Clove.
Clove is described with a highly skilled career tribute who could throw knives with extreme accuracy. I don't see that anywhere on Marvel's biography. She also scored a ten which is better than Marvel. Although it is only by one, it is still higher. Clove also was the person to kill the first tribute in the hunger games which shows everyone that she's not a little girl and that she is capable of just as much as Cato is.
Marvel is just not fit for Clove. Sorry Clarvel shippers but this reality.
