Xerneas smiled and galloped around the forests. It was finally free of team Flare and imprisonment. Xerneas noticed the moon high in the sky and wandered through the forest. Xerneas was free to see the world and enjoy the fresh air.

Xerneas transformed into its human form and danced around the field of flowers beneath the moon. It was a wonderful time to be alive. Xerneas felt accelerated and invigorated with renewed energy.

Y/n: You're free.

Xerneas turned to see Y/n, the trainer that had set it free from team flare. He was leaned against a tree, smiling and watching Xerneas. It peered at a pond of water and saw its antlers showing, that's how he recognized Xerneas in its human form.

Xerneas: I'm so happy to be free. Thank you.

Xerneas walked over and grabbed Y/n's hand before dragging him to dance. Y/n awkwardly began dancing with the pokemon of life as other pokemon began joining them and watching them. They began crooning a sweet song as Xerneas twirled with petals around it.

Xerneas: Y/n, what do think life means?

She asked as he danced with her.

Y/n: I think life is about making the best out of what you got. Striving towards happiness, peace and love.

Y/n explained as Xerneas paused and tilted its head.

Xerneas: What's love?

She asked for in all its years of creation, Xerneas had never heard of love. Y/n blushed nervously and twiddled his fingers.

Y/n: Love is the feeling of wanting to always be with someone, to never be apart and to always do your best for them. And to protect one another.

Y/n muttered as Xerneas smiled sweetly.

Xerneas: Love sounds beautiful.

She murmured as Y/n blushed darker and nodded in agreement.

Xerneas: I've always wondered, do humans always press lips together when they feel love?

Y/n felt his heart pound.

Y/n: Not always, but often.

Xerneas leaned up and softly kissed him. Y/n felt his body fill with gentle warmth as Xerneas pulled away from him.

Xerneas: Kissing is fun.

She giggled as Y/n covered his face with his hand to hide his darker blush from Xerneas.

Xerneas: Y/n, I want to share this feeling of love with you, as thanks for my freedom. You may capture me.

Xerneas smiled as Y/n pulled out a Pokeball and gently tapped her into the pokeball and caught her. Y/n summoned her from the Pokeball as she was in her pokemon form again. Xerneas lowered its head and gently nuzzled Y/n as he patted Xerneas' muzzle. Y/n was just happy to have a new companion and a new outlook on life.
