y/n's POV

I've been with my boyfriend for 8 months, I was amazing until recently, he used to be a gentleman he would hold the door, help me carry stuff,

but randomly that changed, he gets mad at me over stupid shit, calls me names, and makes me carry EVERYTHING.

it was annoying but I didn't take it to heart because I thought he was stressed from something, today I was going to see my best friend's matt nick and Chris.

I've always been closer with matt ever since we were little, I make my way to the living room and say hi to them. 

I sit next to matt like I always do, around 30 minutes later there's a knock at the door and someone yelling my name.

everyone looks confused, but I know exactly who it is, Jarad (I've decided that will be the boyfriend of y/n in theses story's FYI)

"I'll be back guys" I say hoisting myself off the Couch, I walk to the door and open it, "oh hey Jarad!" I say smiling. 

"Can we talk... out here" he says angerly through clenched teeth "fine" I say knowing where this is going, I walk out with him shutting the door behind me and walking into the middle of the driveway. 

"y/n didn't we fucking talk about you hanging out with other fucking guys" he say with anger Boling up in his face.

"Yeah, we did fuck talk about that. I stopped hanging out with everyone! this is the first time I've fucking seen my best friends in a month!" I yell at him. 

"Yeah, but I told you to STOP. I didn't say stop hanging out with them as much, I fucking meant complete stop" he yells back.

"Well, you know something... YOU DON'T FUCKING CONTROL ME" I yell anger building up inside of me "sure whatever you say. you're totally not fucking each of those guys" he says angerly crossing his arms.

"IM WHAT!" I yell really loud "you heard me" he says in a cocky tone "first one of them is GAY! second, I've known them for my WHOLE life there like my brothers!" I scream waving my arms around.

I'm only kind of speaking the truth, to be honest matt is not like a brother to me i don't know what his is but I know he's more than just a brother to me. 

"Pfft yeah right whore" he says rolling his eyes "THATS IT! I've been nothing but loving towards you and all Youven done is make me do stuff for you argue over anything and everything and call me really bad names and I'm sick of it WE ARE DONE! go fuck yourself" I say.

before he could reply I walk away towered the door and before I get to the door, I yell to him. 

"And using my location to find me is fucking low of you don't bother reaching out You'll be blocked" and with that I open the door and slam it behind me. 

I feel tears pricking my eyes I lean on the door and fall to the floor even though I honestly didn't care it was still 8 months down the drain.

I pull my knees to my chest and put my head in my knees and sob, I hear three sets of feet running towards me, someone wraps in a tight bear hug I immediately know its matt.

and I start crying into his shoulder, I can tell nicks rubbing back, because of the rings on his fingers, and Chris is scratching my head.

 "What happened?" matt whispers in my ear "I broke up with Jarad" I mumble they have been telling me too for a while now.

 "You shouldn't be crying over some manipulative bitch" nick says which makes me laugh, I pull away little "see there's that smile we love" matt say wiping my tears with his thumb.

"To be honest I don't even care, I don't know why I'm crying" I laugh, which causes then to laugh too, "do you need anything?" Chris asks me. 

"Yeah Advil" I say he chuckles and stands up and heads to the kitchen "can I talk with you guys though?" I ask quietly "Toatley! let's go to the couch" nick says we all stand up and head to the couch.

we sit down and Chris hands me the Advil and water, I take them, "ok the reason I haven't seen you guys is a month is because..." I take a deep breath.

 "Jarad didn't want me to see any guy friends" I say sad that I listened to him.

"I just didn't want him to be upset with me more I'm sorry" I'm voice cracking "hey were not mad about that we care is that you are safe, and you dumped his ass" matt reassures me and hugs me from behind me

"And to be honest I've had someone else in mind for a while" I say with a sigh "YOU WHAT!" nick shrieks I giggle "yeah but I can't tell you who" I say playing with my rings. 

"Why?" Chris asks "because they will never like me back, so it doesn't matter, they even told me I'm like a sister to them" I sigh looking toward matt.

"Oh, I'm sorry y/n/n (your nick name)" nick says hugging me "it's fine" I say "ok enough we the sappy shit, matt came we drive to McDonalds?" I ask lighting the mood.

"Sure, do you guys want anything?" matt asks everyone "I'll have my usual" they say at the same time I giggle. 

"Ok! 3,2,1 RACE!" matt yells, and we both bolt it to the car giggling "I win!" he shrieks "that's because you got a head start" and I pretend to pout.

"Hey, you want to go to our spot?" he asks, "is that a Queston? I giggle "ok let's go!" he says starting the engine.

there's an abandon 7-11 that we found about 5 years ago and we go there all the time we call it 'our spot' no one knows about it except us, and we sit on the roof and look at the sky.

about 5 minutes later we make it there we hop out the car and climb on the ac unit and matt climbs on the roof and helps me up

we sit on the edge and are feet dangle off the edge "y/n?" he says quietly "hm?" I question looking at him "who's your crush?" he asks.

I don't know if it was because it was him or where we were, but I didn't even hesitate to answer "you" I say looking him in the eyes.

"What?" he asks taking back I look at me feet "I like your matt" I says more shyly " I know you see me as a sister, but you are my best friend, and I can't keep secrets from you" I sigh.

he grabs my chin pulling my face toward his "I like you too" he says I can feel his breath on my face since we are like 2 inches away from each other.

his eye flick from my eyes to my lips back to my eyes again "c-can I kiss you?" he asks shyly I can't even form words, so I just nod my head. 

and he closes me gap between us this may sound corny, but his lips felt like the missing puzzle peace, way better than Jarad's. 

matts lips are soft gentle and Jarad's were chapped rough, sloppy kisses they were horrible, we pull apart foreheads touching "that was..." I started "amazing" mat finishes.

"I know probably not now but when you ready would you be my girlfriend?" he asks breaking eye contact.

I grab his chin and make him look at me "how about I take you up on that offer?" I say "really?" he asked shocked "yes, not to ruin this we should get McDonalds before nick starts whining" I say.

"Yeah, let's go" he say standing up, when we get back in the car, we drive to McDonalds and order "here you go babe" he says handing me my food I blush and the nick name.

"thanks" I say and take a bite of my mc flurry, I grab another scoop "here" I say putting it near his mouth and he takes a bite "thank you" he says.

the rest of the drive we laugh and listen to music, and I completely forgot jarred even existed everything going to work out in the end.
