This man is extremely similar to Kiyotaka- or in this case, Kiyone- in terms of personality. But he isn't entirely emotionless. No, he does feel emotion and he can express them as well.
The difference is that he doesn't care. He is uncaring, monotonous, apathetic, stone faced, somewhat cold and indifferent to practically everyone. He picked up this behaviour due to the trauma of his past. He can also be quite sarcastic and sassy at times.
He also has a problem of always "tch!"ing at every possible moment. In short, he does not care. About anything. At all...
He does smile.... sometimes.... almost never though. And whenever he does, it's usually a small smile and nothing to big. This man does not care about difference in status, skill, past, family, wealth, authority, gender, or anything of that regard. He thinks of everyone in the same way, irrespective of who they are or what background they're from.
He can be very manipulative, has an incredible memory, observation analysis skills, sensory abilities, deduction and was skilled at putting up an almost perfect facade.
He is however, not a student of the infamous White Room. Rather, he's acquainted with it. His father was an investor in the White Room after all. He was actually a really good friend of Atsuomi Ayanokouji. In fact, their mindsets are quite similar and so are their thought processes.
Hence, Y/n was subjected to intense training from a young age until he grew up to such an extent that his skills were almost on par with that of a Fourth Generation White Room student. He was literally completed all ten levels of White Room training, despite not being in the Whiteroom. His father put him under a very similar training schedule.
He was the Masterpiece outside of the Whiteroom, raised to side with and support Ayanokouji Kiyone once she becomes the Minister of Japan. That was his purpose.
He was already acquainted with Sakayanagi and Nanase and a few other individuals like Koenji and Fuuka, mostly due to his father's immense influence.
They wanted him and Kiyone of them to officially become an unstoppable team and get through ANY challenge that the two men throw in their way.
They even brought changes to the school just to make things more challenging, like putting inter-school events, altering the system/principle of functioning of the school, etc.
