"If I were not Alexander, I should wish to be Diogenes."

(Shirogane Miyuki's POV)

This school is truly a confusing case to come and understand, although it is very vague and transparent...someone's playing a game using us.

The results of the exams are always in favor to one side, be it through setting alot of freedom or making the rules in one side's favor and in the other's disadvantage, it is very much shown that someone wants things to go as they want, not fairly or how fate decides it.

Such a thing happened during The Three Kingdoms exams, after that exam class 2-A suffered a grave loss in points, although they were soon recovered by Nagumo in the next exam, we still were hurt by the loss and the one person who was most angered by the loss was of course...Nagumo.

Me and Nagumo have a...err...'complicated relationship'...i guess you could say?.

He was the vice president by choice of the people and he soon after became the president, although i know Nagumo does shady work, i cannot help but respect his leading capabilities, he is a good leader, the simple problem lies in his own pride and ego.

If Nagumo stopped his wrong doings and simply discarded of his foolish selfish desire to surpass the former president, he could very easily surpass him and even surpass whoever was ruling the school back in the teachers' day.

I understand the president wanted me to remove nagumo and replace him but...i'd rather help a man achieve something better in himself than kick him down the abyss of loss, it's much more of a learning experience for me that way...

"You cannot be serious right now!, if we got with this plan of yours we will lose alot of classmates!!" Kaguya yelled out as she stood before Nagumo with a frowning expression.

"And?, they should consider themselves lucky to be used as lambs for our greater victory against those cocky kouhais" Nagumo replied as he glared at her.

"Ehhh come on you two, l-let's t-talk civil here..." Fujiwara tried to settle the situation but the two of them ignored her and bickered even more.

Kaguya is the single most safe person to fight against Nagumo, since even if he tried to expel or remove her, she would null the expulsion using her family's money, nontheless...i'd rather not see her fight with him...

"Nagumo!, you mind if we talk?" i called out to which the trio all turned their attention to me.

Nagumo stared at me for a moment before clicking his tongue and walking towards me.

"What do you want Shirogane?" he asked to which i stayed silent for a moment.

I sighed as i put one hand on his shoulder.

"You're aware we're not winning this exam with flying colors correct?"

Nagumo's eyes widened before he pushed my hand away.

"Like hell i'd allow that, i do not give a damn what that man wants, i'll reach the victory i desire even if he's here to interfere"

By that man...he most likely means Johan-sensei, he's the person leading most of the teaching staff and from what i observed...he controls the results.

"Nagumo, i am with you on working hard to defy such rules but for the love of god don't fight with our classmates like that, you're our leader!!"

Nagumo's eyes widened before narrowing into a glare.

"Is this your way of trying to gaslight me into trusting you?, i know you're jealous over the fact you're not the president!"

"Huh?!, i am not Kiriyama. I am not so envious and jealous of your status to try and expel you, i simply want you to leave a good mark on the kouhais and the school, power is useless if it doesn't leave an impression upon those without it"
