Sticking Together

It was never ending. Nero kept having the same nightmares over and over again ever since that day in Shiganshina, having to see his parents die in front of him by the Armored Titan. He wakes up as the bells of Trost were sounding off. Nero shakes his head, trying to dismiss the nightmares that have been reoccurring. He then remembers the necklace both his parents gave him around his neck. 

It was the very last thing he can remember them by now, as it was their last present to him. 

Eren: Nero. 

Nero: Hm? Eren. Mikasa. 

Eren: Come on. 

He then hides his necklace as he gets up and follows behind the two, walking past the people of Trost and entered the food storehouse. 

Mikasa: Apparently this was their food store house. They've gathered all the boat refugees. 

Nero: ... There sure is alot of people... Then again, we're part of them too. 

Eren: ...

Mikasa: We can't say we survived just yet.

Most of the people were fighting over food while the three look over to see Armin come back. 

Armin: Eren! Mikasa! Nero!

Eren: Armin.

Armin: Here! Just in time! My grandpa got us some by saying it was for children. 

Mikasa: Thank you. 

Nero: Thanks. 

Eren: ... 

Just now, the kids saw a Garrison Soldier who was mildly aggravated and walked away. 

Nero: What's up his butt?

Armin: Can't say we blame him. There's probably not enough food to go around. And these are just a day's worth. There's just too many refugees. There was already a food shortage going on, plus everyone here aren't treated well as citizens on the outer wall. 

Just now, a bunch of Trost's Garrison Soldiers were upset on giving out their food to "outsiders". 

Garrison 1: Why should a bunch of lousy outsiders have the food? If the Titans breached the wall, let them eat some people. 

This has made Eren visibly angry, but Nero was trying his best to quell his anger. His parents weren't eaten but crushed by the large boulder, but it still angered him. Eren on the other hand, he started to march forward. 

Armin: Eren!

Garrison 1: This is just gonna make food shortage even worse. 

Eren then starts to kick the soldiers leg, only for them to punch and kick him down. 

Eren: You don't know what it's like! You've never even seen it! You've never seen what the Titans do to people! 

Garrison 1: Shut up!

Armin: Uh! It was just an accident! He's just hungry and irritable! That's why he so rudely lashed out on adults. I'm very sorry! 

Garrison 1: ... It's because of us you guys aren't starving to death. Even you kids oughta be thankful for us!

Armin: Of course!

Nero: Don't have to be so rude about it though... Dumbass. 

Eren: Damn... I refuse to let them take care of me. 

The four walk back to the corridor as Eren was very livid. 

Eren: I'm going back to Wall Maria! And I'm going to kill every last Titan!
