Canada to Okinawa..

Langa: there's no snow here..

Nanako (mom): are you sure you guys are gonna be alright here?

Yeah, mom. We'll get used to it

Mom: of course sweetheart, you can skateboard all the time here since there's no snow

Mom said as she gave me a sweet smile.

A couple hours later..

Mom: I'm sorry to announce that you both are going to be in separate schools due to the age gap..

Langa: it's alright mom, we'll be alright on our own

Yeah..

I sigh as I get upstairs, noticing a room assuming it's mine. I unpack my stuff and then get comfortable in my new bed. A new life is infront of me.

*knock knock*

Langa: hey, your school uniform was on the counter so I got it for you

I have a uniform?

Langa: yeah.. luckily I don't haha

He teasingly said

That's unfair

I said as I chuckled

Langa: hey wanna hang out and explore the city around with me?

He noticed my smile taking that as a yes

Langa: alright let's go

We got our shoes on and got outside

Langa: hey I brought money just so we can buy snacks, you know Japanese weird snacks that we have to get used to

Haha yeah, can't wait to try it

I got my skateboard in hand

Langa: hey that's unfair I don't have a skateboard you'll be faster than me

Then run after me!!

I said as I got faster to the right

Hey Langa look!! There's a festival!

I looked behind me noticing he was still running

Langa: *inhales* huh??

Look!!

Langa: beautiful

We'll look a bit lost with our ugly travelling outfits

I said as we both started laughing

Langa: come on follow me

You don't even know where you're going

He bought me dangos and we both enjoyed our first night in Okinawa
