10 months later...

It's been 10 months since I didn't met anybody due to this hell COVID!
But now I am excited because IPL is started! It was postponed due to Covid-19 but now with all the precautions it finally started. I am extremely excited for today's match RCB vs DC! Finally, Captain Shreyas Iyer, I can see!

* At the stadium *

Anushka Ma'am: Hey Ishika! How are u?

Me: I am fine ma'am and Wbu?

Anushka Ma'am : I am completely fine and you look beautiful in traditional! Any reason?

Me: Thank you mam * smiled* Are mam koi reason nhi h bas ab traditional hi pehenne ka man karta hai!

Anushka Ma'am: Hmmm.. I see! Maturation at 24! 😂

Me: Are ma'am.. 😂😂

After meeting Anushka Ma'am, I went to Virat Sir to inform about the toss and match timing. As soon as I went there I saw Shreyas and Virat Sir talking.

Me: Virat sir! The toss is at 6 pm and match will start at 6:30pm

Virat : Alright! Thanks for informing me and see who is here!

Me: Shreyas.. I see!

As soon as he heard my voice, he turned towards me.

Shreyas' pov

As soon as I turned around I saw Ishika wearing Indian outfit with hair open and no makeup but still looking fascinating.

Me: Hey! How are u??

Ishika : Fine and what about you Mr. Iyer!

Me: I am fine too :)

Ishika: How are your parents? I came to know that they suffered from COVID! I was really concerned about them but can't come due to precautions!

Me: T.. They are completely fine now and I was in Aus for series but Shresta took a good care of them!

Ishika: You know what you are really lucky to have a sister like Shresta! And do give my regards to them.

Me: Y.. Yeah sure!

Ishika: Acha chalo it's time for toss! Go!

Me : Y... Yeah! Thanks for informing.

What is this Shreyas yaar! Tum to interact hi nhi kar paa rhe ho 🙂! Why? Jab tak confess nhi karunga tabtak aisa hi hota rahega! But sahi time to aane do! Ye sab chhodo aaj match hai focus on that!

Third person's pov

Both Shreyas and Virat went for the toss. Virat won the toss and decided to Ball first.

" And the toss is in RCB's favour "

Interviewer : So, Shreyas as you lost the toss! What will be your strategy against this RCB team?

Shreyas : As a captain if I had won the toss then I would have been chosen balling first too. But anyways, we will try to give a big target to RCB.

Interviewer : Alright! Thank you Shreyas and All the best!

Shreyas : Thank you! 😊

After the toss, Shreyas went towards dressing room. There he met Ishika. She signalled him ' All the best ' and he slightly smiled after that his team went for batting.

" Prithvi Shaw and David Warner are on the crease "

" And that's a huge six from Prithvi Shaw "

They were batting nicely but suddenly Warner got out! After that Shreyas came to bat!

" And now the DC captain Shreyas Iyer on strike "

As soon as he came he just smashed the bowlers with six and fours!

Ishika was watching him from stand.

Ishika: Damn it! Shrey is smashing bowlers like a pro! Nice!

Later Ishika's smiling face was visible on the big screen. Shreyas saw it and it gave him more strength and he scored a half century. She was clapping hard and he was extremely happy!

DC gave RCB a target of 206 and later on DC won the Match.

Shreyas was man of the match! He received the award and then went towards Ishika and said..

Shreyas : Thank you!

Ishika : For what?

Shreyas : For supporting me!

Ishika: Never mind afterall you are me friend * smiled*and Congratulations for the win!!

Shreyas : Thank you! ❤

Virat : Congrats Champ! *hugged Shreyas* played really well!

Shreyas : Thank you Virat!

After that Ishika left from there!

Shreyas : Hey! You are leaving too early.

Ishika : Hmm I know! But dad ka call aaya tha.

Shreyas : Acha jao jao!

Ishika : Hmm bye bye!

Shreyas: *in mind* palat ke dekh to leti 🙂

Ishika : * turned her face towards Shreyas and smiled * Bye!

Shreyas : * in mind * This girl ❤
*signalled her * bye!
