The pleasant humming that reverberated through the trees triggered a stirring in the peaceful crowd of creatures.
A gorgeous woman had been harvesting herbs with her animal companions as they planned to spend yet another harmonious day in solitude; until a baby's cries changed the atmosphere.
The collective of creatures' expressions betrayed the disturbance they felt upon detecting the volume of the sound.
"What on Earth is a baby doing in this remote spot?" the mahogany-haired lady voiced, lifting the small basket that contained the purple-eyed baby, her kind gaze never wavering.
"Such a beautiful little one. What kind of wretch would abandon you here?" she murmured.
A brown deer chipped in, "I guess that the child was left here intentionally. We should look after them until their caretaker returns."
Agreeing, the woman and the other animals returned to the cottage with the mysterious infant, unaware it was the Banished Princess.
