Michelle has been bugging her dear friend to fill out the application form she found in the internet for weeks.
She impatiently knocks on the glass window near the cashier stand of a local coffee shop.
"What now?" a pale petite girl dressed in dark blue skirt and top opened the front door.
"What 'what now'?. I need the form. It's been with you for decades!" Michelle started rolling her eyes.
Sarah looked over her shoulder to check if Jose, her grumpy supervisor, is looking at her chit-chatting during business hour.
The guy is too busy scanning his phone to notice Sarah went out.
Sarah signaled Marco to fill in for her for awhile.
"Hey..Mich, I told you several times I ain't going to that exchange thingy." She tried her best to look iritated.
"Who told you this is still about that? My very naive but dearest friend.. The form I gave you is for the scholarship application Michael handed me last week." A fox-kind of smile crawled up to Michelle's thin lips.
Sarah changes her mood and gave Michelle a questioning look.
"Speak." Sarah instructed. She gathered her untamed hair and tied it back. She has a habit of tying her locks when she wants to listen.
"Such a granny. I said, the form is for the scholarship application Michael handed me last week when we met." Michelle poked Sarah.
Sarah sighed and stared blankly. She is trying to gauge whether what she is hearing is true or not.
Michelle gazed at the girl's hazel eyes waiting for her answer.
"Look sweetie, you told me you needed this badly right?" Michelle is now on serious mode. She gently touched Sarah's arm.
She is genuinely concerned about her friend's future.
"Fine. As long as that form is for the scholarship program. Come back after five today. I'll give it to yah." Sarah said winking cheerfully.
She's a great kid. Top of her class. But Michelle has her way making Sarah a little silly and gullible.
"See yah. Go back before grumps turns and see you hanging out again. Haha." Michelle was referring to Jose who is now placing his phone in his pockets.
"Kisses." Sarah went in and stood behind the cash register.
Mission accomplished. Michelle secretly fist-bumped the air. She tricked her friend. It was a guilt-free scheme to help Sarah.

"Sarah! There's a mail for you." Mrs. Thompson calls out Sarah who's in the bathroom doing her daily rituals.
Sarah hurriedly covered her wet body and dashed to the kitchen countertop where a bloody red envelope is on.
Confused mode on.
Her brows started to meet each other when she started to read the first line of the letter.
Congratulations and welcome to the Exchange Student Program at the Regalis Academy . Yours was the only outstanding application and we are pleased to advise that you will be admitted to the Royal Exchange Student program beginning August, 2015.
WTF?! Sarah almost choked for inhaling to much air.
"No.No.No." She dialed Michelle's mobile number and waited for what seems to be the longest minute of her life.
"Surprise!!!" Exclaimed by the receiver of the call.
