Chapter One - The Throne Room

The Ambassador of Bulovia was talking to King Randolph in the King's throne room. The Ambassador was standing tall in his white wig and sharp clothes.

"... And so, as Chief Emissary of the Majestic Kingdom of Bulovia, which is known for its abundance of pears, potatoes, and peasants, I am authorized by my Courageous King and my Magnificent Queen to hereby invite the princesses and prince of King Randolph to a Royal Gala. We have invited princes and princesses from far and wide to the extraordinary ball." the Ambassador bellows as Janessa, Kathleen and Lacey, the triplets, run into the room, Janessa with something in her hands.

"Papa, look what I found!" yelled Janessa,

"You won't believe it!" Kathleen exclaimed excitedly as she ran after one of her triplets as Lacey the youngest of the triplets ran after them both, breathing heavily, she pleaded,

"Janessa, Kathleen, wait for me!" they run to the King, their father as the Ambassador speaks again,

"As I was saying-" but he was interrupted by Janessa saying,

"A blue-winged beetle. It makes a strange noise when it- see?" showing her father what was in her hands. The beetle flies and buzzes. It goes towards the King, and he dodges it nearly getting his crown knocked off. In surprise he goes,

"Whoa, Oh, my." The Ambassador tries to continue with the orders directed to by his own royals,

"Your Majesty, as I was say-" The Beetle flies to the Ambassador, cutting him off if his sentence, so he swats at it in disgust.

"Oh, Ugh!, he grunts. In horror at her new pet being swatted Janessa yells,

"Don't hurt him!" in fright the beetle flies out the door, Janessa, Kathleen, and Lacey chase the beetle.

"Quick, catch him before he gets to the pantry!" Kathleen calls out. Lacey falling behind panting, weakly whined,

"Slow down, you guys!".

Elsewhere in the castle at the front door, Dahlia walked past the door as a knock was heard. So, he goes and answers the door only to be met by the royal messenger from the Kingdom of Cenate, out of breath he told his message to Dahlia stating that the royals of his Kingdom want to make a peace treaty through the marriage of their son Prince Johnathan who is aged six to the Princess Lacey. As the last word left his lips, he collapsed.

Calling for a guard to take the messenger to the doctors in the village while he tells father the message given. As Dahlia walks to the throne room, knowing father was in their as they had a visiting Ambassador, he noticed the triplets run into the throne room. As the door closed Dahlia heard a crash and raced in only to find the triplets Janessa and Kathleen in a pile with the twins Hadley and Isla still in their stilts. Walking slowly towards father and the Ambassador, Dahlia greets them and tells them the news,

Greeting Father, Lord Ambassador, sorry for the intrusion but I bring a message from a messenger from the Kingdom of Cenate. The messenger himself was ill so I sent a guard to take him to the doctors in the village. The message was that the Royals of Cenate wish to create a peace treaty with you father through the marriage of their son Prince Johnathan and Princess Lacey as he is six and she is five. shocked the King slumped in his chair thinking on what to do. Dahlia then turns to the Ambassador,

So sorry for the interruptions caused by my siblings and myself, Lord Ambassador, but perhaps another time when the triplets are older as they are still learning to be princesses. Apologetically stated Dahlia to the Ambassador. Agreeing, the Ambassador bows his good-byes to the royals, the Ambassador turns and leaves as all the princesses bar Dahlia continue to play. The Ambassador in smug horror at the way the princesses behaved comments under his breath,

Princesses? Hm! More like wild animals. But not that Dahlia. As the Ambassador closes the door Dahlia grills the girls on their actions while their father was in a meeting, one wrong move and they could lose peace treaties over the things they did, sighing the King had a lot on his mind, what was he to do the only child he had that acted proper was Dahlia and he was trying to help but his older siblings and younger siblings dont listen to him, and the information of the new treaty through the marriage of his youngest daughter.
