Chapter 2

A week after I visited to Don Ignacio's house Lisa called me that we should go grocery shopping, that's kinda exciting for me kasi I haven't really got into a real store before, so I said yes. 

"Wait, I need to park." after that I end the call na and went inside to look for them.

Before I could focus on finding them ay may mga nakita akong bagay na hindi ko pa nakikita, manghang mangha akong tumingin sa palibot ng fruit and vegetables section at kumuha ng cart para maglagay na.

Kukuhanin ko na sana ang isang box ng strawberries ng biglang may kumuha din nito sa kamay ko.

"You can have it" he said smilling.

"Oh no, no. You get it, kukuha nalang ako ng iba" tumango lang siya.

"I didn't know someone like you come to this kind of place" he said again with a low tone voice.

I nodded shyly, didn't know what to respond. I grabbed the biggest Orange on the center pile of the orange section, as I thought the guy was gone already but he's not. I bumped into him as soon as I turn my way.

For a moment I feel a little awkward between us until someone from my back suddenly grabbed my hand.

"That one is sour. Here" inalis niya ang orage na hawak ko sa kamay at kumuha ng panibago.

It was Chase.

"Uhm.. thanks" nauutal pa dahil sa gulat.

Bumaling ako sa lalaking nasa harapan ko at nakita ko s'yang nagpapalipat ng tingin sa akin at sa lalaking nasa tabi ko, tumama ang tingin niya sa mata ko kaya naman med'yo napayuko pa s'ya.

"I will leave you two alone now," Ngumiti lang ako at kumaway ng kaunti.

Nang tuluyan na s'yang nakalayo sa amin ay nagsalita naman itong katabi ko. "What is wrong with you, kanina kapa namin tinatawagan pero hindi ka sumasagot. My over reacting sister couldn't find you, she believes that you got lost"

"Naiwan ko ata cellphone ko sa car" nahihiya ko nama'ng sabi, hindi na s'ya nagsalita after at naglakad na papunta kila Lisa.

"Did you see anything that you like?" Bungad ni Lisa. Ang akala ko ay masasampal n'ya na ako dahil mukhang naiinis na s'ya.

Umiling lang ako. "Well, let's look around more." She said grabbing my hand. She look like she's protecting me into something. It was touching though watching her care about me.

After going around for about 20 minutes now, I ask her. "Ano bang okasyon?"

"Ang rami mong binibili" sabay tingin sa tatlong cart na puno na.

"I wanna cook for you. Did you not miss my cooking skills? Pagmamayabang niya.

"You mean your horrible cooking?" I said while laughing.

"At, mukha ba akong balyena sa paningin mo para ipakain 'yan lahat sa akin?" I added.

She looked at me, pissed. "Ibalik mo na nga 'yan" sabay tulak sa mga carts.

Her brother just roll it's eyes. I find it more funnier.

"Okay, sorry Madam." I said, but still laughing.

I heard Chase sigh. Pagod na ata sa Ate niya. "I'll just go get something" he said, didn't even wait to Lisa's respond.

"Hayaan mo s'ya. Anyways, how college life treating you?" Biglang pagseryoso ng boses n'ya.

"Fine. Not so fine though, but at least there's some cute guys around the campus." I giggled, so as she.

"Are you dating someone right now?
Seeing someone? Or you finding cute?" Sunod-sunod na tanong niya.
