This story is a continuation from ipkknd after Arnav had left Khushi in the marriage alter during their second marriage. The present is now 8 years after the incident but the past will also be given parallel.
At the Bronze hotel,
The whole place was decorated with flowers of roses and Lilly in abundance, the guest started arriving in the hall to grace three occasions happening on that day.
One was the younger daughter in law of Raizada's godhbarai.
Second was the elder son's mehandi ceremony.
And third was the engagement of the younger Ranawat, cousin of Raizada brothers.
The order of the functions was also the same.
Anjali, the elder daughter of the Raizadas with her husband Shyam made sure recieving the guest, making them seated and was engaging them in a warm talk.
Subhadra Devi, the eldest lady of the house, stood with her pride on , head lifted, kept monitoring everything happening over the hall with a scrutiny gaze. She would not even let a single misfortune happen because it was the her grandsons mehandi function.
Finally after a lot of persuasion from her side, her grandson agreed to get hitched forgetting the characterless girl whom he had left alone in the alter.
Deviyani Raizada on the other hand just was seated in her seat, following her usual silence which she has started to follow since last few years. She started going silent since Subhadra had made sure she pulls all the strings of the Raizada mansion.
It was totally under her control where everyone was bound to just obey her. The only people who could influence Subhadra for things are just Anjali, Shyam and Manorama, where she is very fond of them. Rest all gets no say, in no matters.
Akash and Manohar followed the steps of Deviyani, where they usually stay silent and interfere when it is much necessary.
Payal on the other hand, had a very difficult path of thorns as almost all of their eyes did accuse her for being Garima's daughter. They did treat her badly, didn't let her meet her mother, didn't let her to support her sister, accused her in every instance for being the daughter of the other women who destroyed Arnav's mother life .
But then, she had her lifeline supporting her in every step , which made her overcome the things. Akash, her dear husband held her hand and fought for her with all of them. They moved out of the Raizada mansion, they owned a small two bedroom apartment, which was their whole world.
The rest of the family melted down after Akash left and tried to pursue them to come back, but then they refused politely since they were happy in their own world. Payal enrolled herself in doing masters and then they both were very busy in doing their own works.
Now they agreed for a family godbharai function together, given that
Khushi can take part in the function. Subhadra had to agree with it because Anjali, her favorite puppet convinced her to do so since she doesn't want to loose Akash.
Payal sat in the sofa beside Akash, with her gaze fixed in the door. She held Akash's hand in nervousness where she just played with his hand.
" She will come relax," said Akash.
" It's been almost 15 days since I met her, I am very excited to meet her and nervous for everyone's reaction," said Payal anxiously where Akash held her hand firmly.
" We won't let anything happen to her," said Akash to which Payal nods her head.
" Hello, Hi bye bye, do you need any juice for my grandson?" asked Mami coming over there to them .
