He was definitely not having a nice day. He had to rush, following one of his enemies for over two hours by now, to stop him from doing whatever is that he wanted to do. His enemy had a demented mind, the man was more than willing to do anything to do whatever heinous scheme he wanted to do. But he was there to stop him, to finally get him behind bars yet again for the umpteenth time. Even though he got tired of the cat and mouse game, he had to play it every single day to keep his city safe. It was his responsibility to do so, it was his self proclaimed mission.
The two were duking it out over one of the many terminals of the John F. Kennedy Airport. With his opponent glaring at him all the time. He did not mind at all the glare, it let him know that he was doing his job to annoy him. It made him try even harder than before, to make him even more angry. It was his strategy to defeat his enemies. Annoy them so much that they make crucial mistakes during their bout and will allow him to score a victory without resulting in him using his entire strength. He prided himself on not fully using it. He did not want to gravely injure his enemies, they were human too.
"Stand still, Wall-Crawler!" But right at this moment, he was being slightly overtaken by the sheer tenacity of his enemy. The man lunged at him, the mane the man had on his sleeveless jacket breezing through the wind. His eyes stared right at the hunting knife he had, his senses already warning him about the approaching weapon. He had taken a few steps back, motions with his body being able to be enough to evade the attack on his person. While it did almost nothing to calm his innate senses, he knew that he could easily keep up with the man without getting fatally injured by him. "Die with dignity!"
He rolled his eyes behind the symbiotic outfit he was currently wearing. If he had to admit, many people were calling him crazy because of his decision. But after talking it out with the symbiote inside of him, the two managed to talk out an agreement between the two. It was because of it that he had added protection to himself thanks to it, which he had begun to refer to as Venom. It was amazing what he could do now that he didn't really need most of his equipment, but he still uses them for nostalgic reasons. But he knew that when he may need Venom's help, that it will be there to protect him.
"Sorry, Kraven" He voiced out sarcastically, his words piercing through the man. The villain was known to be a hunter and it was because of that, that Sergei Kravinoff was better known as Kraven the Hunter. He had his shared past with the man, a constant hunting game between the two of them. "Given the choice, I'm all for dying of old age" He joked, firing a web at his person. He had to do whatever it took to finally get Kraven to leave him in peace. "I mean, you're a hunter!" He stated the obvious, trying to annoy Kraven the best he could. Gaining time was all he really needed, he was definitely going to outlast his opponent. His symbiotic partner was making sure of that. "Why don't I ever see you, you know, out on safari or something?!" He screamed the question at the hunter in an annoyed voice, a very good interrogative if he could say so himself. It should be about time that the man knew that he could not kill him, he had tried many times before and is still unsuccessful in it. Though he was also annoyed that the hunter seemingly evaded the web he shot out of his Web-Shooter. "Go bother animals in Africa for a change!" He did not mean it in a bad way. Hopefully those animals would get as far away as possible from Kraven, but he was tired of having to deal with the hunter on a weekly basis. "Better yet, slug it out with Conan or Ka-Zar! They're both jungle guys!" He still remembers very clearly both of his allies in the Avengers. Both were very strong, stronger than he could ever be if he spoke freely about it. So he knew that either of the two would easily beat Kraven to a pulp "I mean, did it ever occur to you that I keep beating you because you're out of your element?"
It was then that his senses flared wildly, his face moving ever so slowly towards the location that it was warning him about. He did not have time to react, his face receiving the full brunt of Kraven's fist. It hurt, more than it should ever have if he had to say anything about it. As far as he knew, Kraven did not have any other ritual done on him to make him stronger. But it was then that he saw something over his hand, a ring with a spike in the middle of it. He narrowed his eyes on it, noticing quite briefly his blood dripping down the small spike of the ring that had a glint to it.
