Chapter 14

"Because I-I like Nikki.. I like her more than a friend." 

"What? Are you serious?" I shouted as everyone inside looked at me instantly.

"Sorry." I mouthed to everyone.

"Could you keep it low?" Zayn said with his eyes wide.

"Yea, yea! But what do you mean by you like her more than a friend?" I said.

"You know, I like her in a--" He said while looking for words as I gave him a weird look.

"I like her in a girlfriend-type of manner.." He said as I started laughing. Poor guy had gotten so nervous talking about her and I wasn't even making him feel comfortable while doing it.

"Could you please stop laughing?" He said with annoyance showing on his face.

"Sorry. So what do you plan on doing about it? Making her like you in a 'boyfriend-type of manner?" I said as I started to laugh again as he started going back to his room.

"I'm sorry, I really mean it. I'm sorry, Zayn." I said grabbing his hand and making a puppy dog face.

"It's okay. And whereas it comes to doing something about Nikki, I haven't thought of anything and that's why I came to you." He said smiling as if that was the smartest idea ever.

"You know what I think, Zayn? If you have feelings for someone, go and tell them.. It's the best thing to do!" I said smiling.

"Are you sure?" He said even more nervous.

"Yes, Zayn! And don't be nervous.. So, when are you gonna tell her?" I asked grinning to get some info.

"I don't know. How about you guys have a sleep-over? Today? Right here?" He said excited.

"Um, I don't know.. Do you think the other boys will be fine with it?" I asked not-so-sure about Zayn's plan.

"Of course! They'd rather be very happy with you guys staying over tonight! And you girls can wear our clothes!" He said getting even more excited.

"Um, okay." I said smiling at him.

"So, then.. the idea's set! We're having a sleep over!" He said grinning wide.

"What sleep-over?" Niall then came in and asked.

"The girls are staying over tonight!" Zayn said as he took my hand and spun me around.

"Calm down, Zaynie!" I said getting dizzy.

"Niall, were you eaves-dropping?" I said suddenly realising as Zayn's face got filled up with nervousness again.

"No, just heard about the sleep-over.. Why? What were you guys talking about?" Niall said narrowing his eyes as Zayn calmed down.

"It's a secret! Right, Zayn?" I said pointing my tongue out to Niall and putting my arm around Zayn's waist. (couldn't reach up to his shoulders, you see?)

"Yes, Kiara! Our dirty little secret!" Zayn said putting his arm around my shoulder.

"Won't be for long!" Niall said with an I'm-watching-you expression as we all went back and told everyone else which reminded me of my situation with Lou.

"Hey, Lou.. Can I speak to you?" I said knocking on the Lou's bedroom door.

"Why? You're done flirting with Niall?" He said with annoyance on his face.

"I wasn't flirting with him, okay?" I said enjoying the situation.

"Yeah, right!" He said sarcastically.

"Can I at least come inside?" I asked still standing on the doorstep.

"Yea, come in.." He said stealing a glance.

"Louis, what I really wanted to talk about was.. Um, the kiss.." I said in an awkward manner as I sat the edge of his bed, maintaining some distance.

"Oh, um, what about it?" He said still not looking at me.

"You know what about it.." I said.

"No, I don't.."

"Oh, come on, Louis! Will you just acknowledge the fact that you did kiss me out of the blue, even when there was absolutely no media there!" I said standing up and walking up to him.

"Fine! I know I kissed you out of the blue and there was no media there.. but-but I.." He said trailing off.

"I- what?!" I yelled this time.

"I love you, okay? I am in LOVE with you! That's why I couldn't bare the fact of you flirting with Niall and especially you hugging him!" He said as I stood there with my jaw dropped.

"What? Are you insane, Louis? I-I mean, I'm messed up! I'm a screwed-up mess! I am only a troublemaker! Just don't do thi-" I said as he stood up, came face-to-face, pulled me close and kissed me deep. The kiss was so passionated but yet, so gentle that I couldn't help but give in, so I kissed him back.

"Kiara, I don't care how screwed up you are, all I know is that I LOVE YOU! And I don't care if you're a troublemaker as long as you love me back.. Kiara, just let me take care of you.. Just-just let me love you. Will you be with me, Kiara? Will you be my girlfriend?"  He said pulling away and looking into my eyes.

"Yes, Louis." I whispered blushing.

"What?!" He said with his eyes wide.

"Yes! I will be your girlfriend!" I said smiling wide and looking into his eyes as he picked me up bridal-style and spinned me around.

"Wait, I need to do something," He said smirking and putting me down while grabbing my hand and running out.

"Guys, I have to say something!" Louis said still grinning.

"I asked Kiara out and-and she said yes! Kiara's mine now, guys! She's finally my girlfriend!" He said as Nikki came rushing towards me and hugging the life out of me as all the boys cheered and congratulated Lou.. Except Niall, who was still just sitting on the dining table.. staring at me with sad eyes.
