Nobody dared to step foot on the property of Katsuki Bakugo.
Not his colleagues, not his ex-classmates and definitely not any mailman hoping to keep their job.
Y/N was different; the first opportunity they had in a while.

The postal service was lacking workers willing to take up the responsibility of stepping within a mile of the pro heroes household, yet Y/N was new, she'd just moved from America (ironic really considering she chose to be a postman in a town that was completely foreign). That was another reason they chose her - Bakugos house was unmistakeable - an easy find for her first day on the job, and what should've been, completely unmissable.

Yet here she was, trying to hunt down a single person to give her directions. There were no friendly neighbours, no signs, no pathways, and certainly no help in finding this oh so important "hero" that everyone seemed to fear so greatly.
To her, he didn't seem like a hero at all: hiding away from society - not particularly a friendly first impression.
She'd been walking for what felt like miles, in a green yet somehow ominous forest. It felt like it was taunting her, with its never-ending twists and turns that felt exactly identical to the last.

"Ugh I give up" she groaned, squinting at the map in front of her, "Who put the stick so far up this guys ass for him to live in what is practically another continent". She said to the golden retriever wading happily on her side, saddled up with 2 bags of mail, just like a trusty steed, she thought to herself. The dog sniffed around before suddenly coming to a halt.

"What is it boy?"

Her question was shortly answered by a large explosion, presumably nearby as she stumbled on her feet, feeling the ground shake beneath her.

"I think we've found our target" she said letting out a slight grin at herself proudly, she deserved it after the draining expedition she'd found herself enduring for the past few hours.

Although it was stupid, she decided she should walk directly towards the blast in hopes of getting this over and done with. The hero was known to have his outbursts and she wanted to leave without causing any dispute, as she was repeatedly told by her colleagues to, at all costs, "NOT GET ON BAKUGO'S BAD SIDE".

"Why the hell do they take they shit" she said, picking herself up off her feet. "Some hero this guy is, when he's destroying the entire forest" The dog continued to pant in response. She pondered for a moment, "perhaps you're right, if his house is as 'extravagant' as they say it is he can probably afford to own these woods". At this point she was just talking to herself, but liked to imagine the dog could understand.

Another outburst. The ground shook more violently this time so it was easy to tell she was getting closer. "Ow- Shit, seriously this guy takes no safety precautions". She finally saw her first sign of human life in what felt like forever, and she was so overcome with exhilaration that she felt like a scientist discovering a new species.

"You have to be fucking kidding me, I told you to make sure there was no one here, and what do I see?!? I see a fucking girl standing 10 metres away from me, why the fuck do I have to keep reminding you??" Snarled the blonde haired, figure, dressed as if he was prepared to take on a whole army by himself.

"I can hear you, you know - you don't need to be an utter piece of shit about it!"

"The fuck did you just say to me?"

"I said you don't have to be a piece of shit about it!"
She crossed her arms placing herself between him and the dog, although it was much more likely she'd be the one needing protection.

"Watch your fucking mouth or I'll make sure you and your pretty little pedigree never step foot in this town again, in fact this whole regi-"
He stopped speaking, presumably listening to whoever was on the end of his phone call.
"What!? Stop treating me like a baby I can handle a fucking postal courier!"

"Listen, I've been trying to find you for the past three h-"

"Great. Now you can give me my mail and go." His face was stoney and cold, but she wasn't keen to leave just yet.

"You sure have a lot of mail for someone who loves to live so far away from people" she tried to look menacing but didn't think anything could break the callous and disgusted expression on his face.

"Yeah well, I'm a busy man. Poke your head in someone else's business unless you feel like losing your job" he spat, making sure to keep his distance.

"How do you expect me to find my way back when this place is practically an unsolvable maze, how does anyone get in?"

"That's the fucking point, whether it's the most wanted villain, the press, or an insignificant, idiotic, aggravating, lost little girl who just so happens to find their way into MY house - I don't care I want them all out"

"Ouch, no respect for your messengers I see, it's practically a battlefield trying to get here"

He scoffed, "AS IF, you're nothing more than a post office employee, I've had tons of them just like you, and trust me it NEVER goes down well"

"Get your head out of your ass" fleered Y/N

"Fuck off, if I see you here with that stupid dog again therell be trouble got it? Get them to send another asshat of a postman!"

With one scowl, she turned around without looking back.
