*alarm goes off*
It's 8:00 a.m. and the sun is shining brightly out the window
I check my insta fee until I received a message from Lizzy (best friend)
"Hey are you up yet?!?"
"Yes I just woke up"
"Okay im omw"
I put my phone down and decided to get out of bed. I went into the bathroom
"Jesus my hair is horrible". I said to myself
I quickly took a shower and ran downstairs.
"Y/N IM HERE!!! I also brought IHOP cuz I knew you were just getting out of bed ma'am". She yelled
"Thank you lizzy, you know me best". I said
"Ik, so what are our plans today". She asked
"Idk yet, wanna look around town since I just moved here?". I suggested
"Sure why not". She replied
I went upstairs and did a lil makeup and put on shoes. I locked the door to my apartment and got into lizzy's car.
"So y/n how have you been, since it's been awhile?"
"Well I decided to move to Barcelona after I graduated, and it was a good idea to start a new chapter in my life and not get into any trouble"
"You mean boy trouble" she says jokingly.
"Lizzy shut up" I jokingly said
We both decided to stop by a mini cafe. Once we have entered we sat down and ordered. Then lizzy started asking why I moved to Barcelona.
"Well remember my ex?" I said
"Yea?" She replied
"I thought I finally found love but I was to blinded to see his true colors, and ignored everything and focused on the good. Turns out I got heartbroken and lied to, so I just shut down everything and moved here, and I don't want to love again because I fear the same thing is going to happen". I said
"Wow that was deep y/n, but you know not all people are the same right?" She said
"Yea I know, but I'm just going to focus on myself and spend time with my best friend". I answered
"Awww you still have a heart". She said jokingly
I gave her a dirty look and we both started laughing. But then stopped when I saw a group of guys walk in...
