Chapter 8 - Defenders of the Wing Part 2

In my Changewing form, I watched as they started to corner my friends, the Queen didn't look very happy. Queen Mala had her sword to Hiccups throat, "I warned you, Hiccup Haddock. I warned you not to betray me." She said everyone was being backed into a corner and they even started to do the same with me, I growled as they got closer, not firing yet. "Seize them!" Mala yelled, they all charged, oh boy.

Everyone ran to their dragons and got their weapons, I got over to Toothless and changed back into my human form. I hid behind Toothless who was ready to fire, before anyone could do anything, "Stop!" Hiccup yelled on the middle of everyone, who all stopped and looked at him.

"Okay, look you were right, you were tricked but we were tricked too okay? Viggo used is as a distraction as he could steal you Eruptodon, but without us knowing. We don't work with the dragon hunters. They're our enemies." Hiccup explained.

"And yet our Eruptodon is gone, our village is in peril from the lava flow, and you hold me in front of your Night Fury." Mala said sword still up, Hiccup put his hand up making Toothless hold back his fire, Toothless tails was wrapped around me being protective. "We'll prove it to you. We'll go rescue your dragon and bring it back. I'll even leave some people here to help you fight the lava." He said, "Only your best," Mala replied.

"Heather's a survivalist, she dealt with lava before. Ruff and Tuff," He said as Tuff stupidly got a seat in his throat from looking and sucking on the wrong end of a dart shooter. Tuff sister busted out laughing Snotlout knock the back of Tuff making it coming out hitting Ruff in the head and they both fell down. I facepalmed, "Uh, let's just say they... have a lot of experience cleaning up stuff. (Y/N), she's been through a lot and can help, she's smart and know how to slow down the lava flow. You can trust us. I swear it." Hiccup said. Marla looked from side to side and lowered her sword.

"I accept you offer, on one condition, I must travel with you to save our beloved dragon." Mala said, making everyone form her village gasp. "I thought you didn't fly on dragons." Hiccup said confused, "I will do whatever it takes to save The Great Protector." Maps said, well she's a great leader and dragon mom that's for sure. "But if you fail me, I will kill you. If you attempt to escape, I will kill you. If I think at anytime-"

"You will kill me. Understood." Hiccup cut her off, he got the message quickly. "Then it shall be done." Mala said, Snotlout approach them, "She's coming with us? That's totally gonna mess up our rhythm." He said, "What rhythm?" Hiccup asked, and I asked the same question in my head, seeing the twins get up knowing they are fine was a relief. Heather sighed walking over to them, "Come on, it's up to us to stop the lava flow. Thor help me." Heather said grabbing them and taking them to where they needed to go.

"You can fly with me and Toothless. We'll start canvassing the-" Mala held her hand up cutting him off. The bushes rustling, the dragons growled before darts came out of no where. "Dragon Hunters!" Astrid said, "Take to the air!" Hiccup said running to Toothless, "(Y/N) go help them with the lava flow we got it from here." Hiccup told me, I looked at him concerned.

"Hiccup I can't help slowing the lava unless my dragon form of the Eruptodon, I don't trust these guys enough to change." I said he looked in my eyes, he can tell I was scared of changing. Hiccup smiled, "You're the smartest girl I know, you got this." He said gave me a kiss on cheek, and got on Toothless. I smiled running off to join the other to stop or slow down the lava flow. Heather on her dragon came down to pick me up and we flew back into the air.

Everyone from the village is digging a huge pit so the lava can go in and slow it down, Heather and Windshear cut down a couple of trees. "Slice ''em down Windshear." Heather said which she happily did so, I have to say Razorwhip is one of my favor forms. The trees fell making the lava from spreading any further go into the pit, everyone cheered and I smiled behind Heather since I'm on her dragon. "Great thinking Heather." I said earning a smile, then I seen the twins with a huge piece of ice, oh no this can't end well now, where did that ice come from?
