A stage filled with lights all shining on one person one of if not the most popular singer in the world Killer. Well that's what the TV showed at least. Cross was happy in his little slice of heaven and didn't really involve himself in things like tourist season or specials to make more people visit his shop. If they wanted a specific flavor he would just make it no strings or extra taxes attached.

But the peaceful little town he fell in love with was currently a large tourist attraction because that singer Killer was touring a couple towns over and it was drawing all sorts of people in. Now Cross was tempted to just close down shop while the tourists were here but that would be lost revenue. So he begrudgingly kept the shop open even though he preferred the peace and quiet the extra cash to upgrade his little shop was nice.

After another busy day where it seemed like all anyone could talk about was Killer and how he was so hot and blah blah blah. Cross didn't care what they thought he only wanted his peace and quiet back. But as he was closing up for the night and getting ready to close the shop someone came in. He sighed to himself and got ready to make a fresh pot of whatever tea or coffee the stranger wanted.

"What's your most soothing blend?" A scratchy voice asked. This instantly got Cross's attention and as he whipped around to see who it was he was kind of shocked. "Wait, wait aren't you that big fancy rock guy who's bringing in all of the tourists?" Cross asked. The rockstar nodded mutely and gave a small scratchy cough. Cross slightly winced at the cough and poured him a cup of their most soothing blend of tea.

"Here have some Sacred Winds tea on the house I know how painful a throat like that can be." Cross chuckled being reminded of his days back in the military. Before Killer could grab the tea Cross also added an extra pastry. "Here have some relaxation on the house as well it doesn't go as good with the Wind spirit tea but we're all out of the specialty today." Cross explained. Killer nodded and sat at a table to enjoy his tea.

Cross closed up shop and Killer left, luckily he left the table pretty clean so all Cross had to do was wipe it down a little. And when he went to collect the wrappers from the pastry he saw the tip Killer left, 500 G. Cross almost had a soul attack there and then but luckily he didn't, he had never gotten a tip as big as that before but it was quite nice. Cross finished cleaning up and went upstairs to where his bedroom was getting ready to sleep and get ready the next day.

But when he woke up the next day he was surprised to find that when he went to open the doors there was a giant line that almost wrapped around the entire block. Cross opened the cage and watched the people flood in Cross already had a hunch that it had something to do with Killer and that hunch was proved correct. It seemed like from what he overheard some fans saw Killer in the cafe and posted some pics of him online in the cafe.

And now Cross was being flooded by costumers because they thought that this was Killers new favorite cafe. Everything sold out in minutes, all of the pastries were gone but luckily Cross was smart and made up extra batches that only needed to be baked to be finished. As the day went on the costumers dwindled and eventually stopped coming near closing time and Cross's "favorite" costumer came in.

"Wind spirits again a presume?" Cross asked. "I wanted to apologize." Killer said. Now that peaked Cross's interest. "Bout what?" He asked and Killer apologized for accidentally bringing in all of those fans. "Ok so from what I'm hearing is that by saying your sorry for that your hoping to get another free pastry?" Cross said flatly. Killer's apologetic look deflated before looking annoyed. "Was it that obvious?" He asked.

Cross snorted and laughed giving Killer a pretty straightforward answer. Tonight Killer had to pay for the pastry but not the tea not yet. "Also I know your the one who brought in all those costumers I saw the photos you posted." Cross mentioned. Killer stared at him as if he had never heard that before. "I may live in this small quaint town but I still have a phone so yeah I saw the pictures you took of my food." Cross chuckled.

Killer looked defeated and left without another word leaving a smaller tip than the night before only about 300 G but it was still a lot. That night was the last night Killer would be in that town for his tour taking most of the tourists with him but some stayed. As the months went on Cross mainly brought Killer up as a fun story to tell his costumers and friends never really expecting him to come back to the quaint little town.

But Killer on the other hand couldn't stop thinking of it.
