A Choice Between _LIFE And DEATH_

Chapter 3

I'm now 25 years old. For some reason, I felt like I was forgetting something, something important. Well more like someone very important, I am now working at a company and i met a good friend whom i got close to easily. We started hanging out and she was the reason why i can now communicate and socialize with others, She is named after her grandmother which is Leziel. Leziel is a co-worker and a good friend of mine. She has a complete family and sibling. Her life is the total opposite of what I have but still she's a good friend  and well shes like a family to me, the only family I have left

Leziel texted me to go to an restaurant nearby because we were grabbing a drink. I grab my wallet and rush out to the restaurant. I was in the rush and then i accidentally bumped into someone. I immediately apologized and he says

"You look like her" he said with a shocked face

I tilt my head and replied " w-what are you talking about?'

" Nevermind" he said and left
I was left alone in the same spot for a few minutes and  then I decided to leave because of the time

As i entered inside and saw Leziel  with a stunned face. As i walk in, the people there were pale and someone pointed a gun and started shooting. It was a random shooting I was so shock I could do anything and then suddenly i felt pain in mm body i got shot in my thigh, arms and feet, I lose my consciousness the last thing I heard before finally losing cconsciousnesswas my friends worried voice

I woke up and saw white ceiling. The woman asked me if I'm okay, I said yes. The woman said that I can go home later. and then I asked her

"Uh excuse me where am i? Did you see my friend? Where's Leziel? I said

" relax miss you are in the hospital and ...  She couldn't Finnish her sentence when  someone interrupted. It was the man i met in front of the hospital.

"Quit staring at me, I might melt and am I that handsome?"He said with a little smirk on his face which immediately dissapeared

"Are you the one who brought me here?" I asked

" Nurse can you step outside for a minute" he said

The woman immediately walked outside then he said " yes, I was the one who brought you here"

And where's  leziel!? Did you see her??

He looked down and said" if you are talking about a girl who was in her black outfit, she died she died trying to fight off the bad guys"

I was so stunned and can't even talk, because there is no  other than leziel who wears black outfit in that restaurant. My tears started falling like rain since I can't believe it, my best friend my only friend my only family is gone now. The man rubbed my back and tried comforting me.
