"So, how was my son when you first met him?"
Natawa ako sa tanong ni Tito. Nakain na nga pala kami ngayon kasi dumating na 'yong Dad niyo from work.
"But that was my way para mapansin mo 'ko, eh."
He looked so cute while pouting. Char!
"I can't believe my brother's being such a baby to his girl," his older brother said. "Kapag in love nga naman."
We all laughed.
Mayamaya pa ay umuwi na kami. It was already getting late na kasi. On our way home ay nakatulog na ako. I looked at Oliver who was holding his head. Napaayos tuloy ako ng upo.
"Hey," I called him. "Okay ka lang?" I worriedly asked him.
I saw the panic in his eyes. "Yeah, I'm okay,"
"You sure?" I asked him again. "You don't seem okay, Oliver. Masakit ba ulo mo?"
He shook his head. "Antok lang 'to, I'm fine.
The next morning, I woke up because of a phone call.
"Hello?" I answered the phone call.
[Anong room number mo?] he asked.
Nagtaka ako. Why was he asking for my room number? "108," sagot ko. "Bakit?"
Before he could even answer my question ay inend na niya ang call.
I saw how his fist formed into a rock when he heard what I said. Agad akong kinabahan sa posibleng mangyari. I could see the anger in my brother's eyes.
Ayos mo, ah?"
My eyes started pooling with tears. "Kuya..."
