The sence opens to Max looking through a old album back from when he was in High School. The picture was of him and Roxanne after their first date back in 1995.
Silvia comes in
Silvia: First Love is always the sweetest. Isn't it.
Max: Well she wasn't the first but certainly my favorite.
Silvia: You are going to miss us while I and your father go on our honeymoon.
Max: No, no I been looking forward to it besides I'm surprised that my pops decided to let me come on this trip and invite the gang out. While you guys have time together, me and the gang are going to go sightseeing and spend time with each other.
Silvia: Shouldn't you be packing for the trip we leave first thing in the morning.
Max: Your right, thanks Mom.
Silvia kisses Max on the cheek and leaves the room.
Later on that night Max continues to pack when he hears a old ringtone he hasn't heard in over 4 years. And starts to look for the source of the ringtone. Max digs into the closet and sees the ringer code a code he hasn't seen in a long time. Max plays the message. Roxanne's voice plays in the message.
Roxanne: Max Goof, I'm seending this message with as a warning and location.
Max: (Whisperers) Roxanne?
Roxanne: Listen to me very carefully, Revenge I repeat Revenge.
Max: Revenge?
Roxanne: And Max, Trust no one.
Bobby: She seems frighten dude. I haven't seen her this scared this much before.
Max: I haven't heard from Roxanne since 98 after the incident.
Bobby: You mean when your dad accidentally set their house on fire. Her Dad was furious with both of you and had Roxanne moved.
Max: I don't even want to be reminded okay. It wasn't his fault it was an accident. Anyway I don't know where she moved to and it would take an entirety to find her. Anyway I should be able to track the message from where it originated.
Just then the news aired as Max was looking at the old photos of Roxanne then the News lady reported.
News Lady: Good Evening Ladies and Gentlemen I am Jessica James. I am reporting here on the raising crime in Long Beach, California where here at this home where a father and daughter were close call to death yesterday when burglars broke and were shot dead when the daughter was at home at the time in the early morning and managed to get her father's shot gun and managed to kill to kill the suspects and no charges are filed since this was a self defense incident.
Max was shocked to see what had happened.
Bobby: So how you are going to pull this off?
Max: Call PJ and Mocha, tell them to pack up, we have a job to do. That job is to save an old friend.
At the Bean Sence Coffee House.
Mocha pours Max a cup of Coffee
Max: You have souvenirs now?
Mocha: You mean from your win back in 99.
Max: How come you have minature version of my first X Games Trophy as small glass cups?
Mocha: Those Big Cups. Nobody wants those.
Max: You hear that PJ, nobody wants those cups. Those cups are my legacy to me young lady.
Mocha looks back at Max.
Max: Nice to see you Peech.
PJ: Good to see you pal. I miss you.
Max: I wouldn't have to ask you to meet you like this if hadn't not been important. And I appreciate it giving up your time away from your family and Mocha.
PJ. Actually Mocha and my sister will appreciate me being away for a while. How can I help?
Max and PJ share a drink
PJ: Roxanne? I haven't hear from her since we graduated High School?
Max: Roxanne message comes from this location and she said don't trust no one and mention the word Revenge. But who on Earth would want to get revenge on me, I mean me and my dad havent defeated some bad guys since I was a kid. That was 10 years ago.
PJ. Of course not. Somebody targeted her and according to her message where it came from. It came from the City of Long Beach, California a small town on the outskirts of Los Angeles.
Max: Long Beach. That's where she could be.
PJ: My dad said its a perfect place to move to in California and to start a new life. But to hid from what. What the hell she has gotten her self into.
Max: In all the years since we met. I never seen her so much frighten. Terrified.
PJ: Max, after she moved why did she cut eveyone off. Me, you, Stacey. There had to be a reason?
Max: Well I'm heading out there later on in the day. I wouldn't suppose you and Bobby can hop along to the flight. I can't ask you that far to put you in danger.
PJ: Since when like the time you tired to save Roxanne from a snake back in High School and she saved you instead. And besides aren't we over due for a good old classic roadtrip.
Max: But I can't tell my dad. We should make that clear.
PJ: I think we might have a way around that.
Max and Roxanne leave the Bean Sence
Just as they both walk pass a figure who was spying on them.
This is Slouch in disguise and brings out a flip phone and calls his boss.
Slouch: Boss, its Slouch, I found them!
Man on Phone: Well done Slouch, now I want you to follow them back to here. Call me once you landed in LA .
