3 weeks earlier

Austin's POV

"Hey Austin can I ask you a question?" Lilly asks as we walk down the hall.

"Yeah what is it?" I look at her as she looks down at the floor.

"Your 17 right?" She says still not looking at me.

"Yes I am why, what's wrong?!" I get more concernd.

"H-have you found y-your mate yet?" She finally looks up with tears in her eyes.

Yes I have found my mate, because she standing right in front of me but I want her to figure it out on her birthday. "No I haven't found my mate, but I hope I'll find her soon." I lie to try and cheer her up.

"Oh okay" she says with a little smile on her face and we walk to lunch.

"Hey cutie" Colt says grabbing Lilly's hand and hugging her.. kinda sexually.

'Just the site of this makes my blood boil' Koda growls

'Yeah I know' I bark back before grabbing Lilly's hand and we sit down.

I'm use to seeing Zoey act like this but that's one thing because Zoey is her best friend, even though the fact that she's a lesbian worries me a little, but to have Colt touching what belongs to me really pisses me off.

"Austin where are you going?!" Lilly says grabbing the hem of my shirt.

"I have to have a talk with Colt we'll be back soon ok." I grin and pick Colt up off the chair.

When we get to the hall I slam Colt into some lockers and pin him there with my knee.

"Austin what the hell is wrong with you?!??!!" Colt screams.

"Stay away from her Colt or I will kill you, you hear me?!" I pull him higher off the ground.

"Wh-who, stay away from who?" He says shaking like a mad man.

"Lilly you fuck head, she is my mate and you better stay the fuck away from her or I'll fucking kill you!!" I yell my blood is about past its boiling point. Then Colt nods his head trying to stop the tears in his eyes from falling. I drop him to the floor and walk back to the lunch room.

'Did you have to be so hard on him Koda.' I ask but I get no response. Koda must really be pissed.

I walk back into the lunch room and sit beside Lilly, Colt walks in about 5 minutes later but makes Tyler switch him places so he doesn't have to sit by me.

Ever day after that I watch as Colt jokes around with everyone but doesn't get to close to Lilly.

"Hey cutie pie!" Colt said to Lilly in a happy voice, this causes me to look up at them.

"Go away Colt you not my type so stop trying." She looks at me when she says this so it causes me to laugh a little.

God I can't wait till her b-day to tell her. I won't to confess my love to her now but I can't she'll never believe me. Hell I don't even know if she likes me that way.

'But she will soon' Koda says and I smile a little because I know he is right.

When I was writing this I never would have took Austin as a bully but I guess that's what love does to us.

Well I hope you all liked it and now that school is just about over I hope to be writing more.
