After the event called 'The First sighting' the gods made a new magic category called 'World Magic', Spells so powerful that it could even rival a God's arcana
First of this record of 'World Magic' is a magic song that could double the level and give 'Hope' to it's target's (Max number of target's are unknown, as the first use of this magic affected 500+ adventurers). After the effect wears off it would give the targets a new permanent skill named 'Blessing of the song' that will double excelia gain and give a 20% status buff
'The First Sighting' occurred on floor 27 of the dungeon (known as 'Water City'), The guild sent an expedition of 500+ adventurers as they believed that people of the renegade group known as 'Evilus' set up a temporary base there, but when the expedition reached the 27th floor the trap of Evilus was set offed
Waves after waves of monsters spawned in the dungeon walls quickly pushed the adventurers back...
In ten minutes 1/10th of the adventurers fallen but the monsters still kept spawning
All hope seemed loss...
Until an ethereal song was heard
Golden aura enveloped the adventurers healing them
The fatigue they fell disappeared... They felt stronger and faster
With renewed vigor they fought back fiercely
For the first time since the catastrophy, they felt 'Hope'
After fighting for what seemed like hours, the monsters stoped spawning...
They have won!
But after the battle, the golden aura that surrounded them dissipated
As if remembering, they looked around for the one who casted the powerful spell
At one of the tunnels they saw a woman with neck-length golden hair waiving goodbye to them with a smile
As she turned around to leave they saw a lute strapped to her back
She was the one who sang the ethereal song that gave them hope
They tried to follow her, but she disappeared
After long trek home...
They reported they're events that unfolded
After heading back to their individual familias to either rest or have a status update were in for a surprise
The gods and were surprised that they developed a new Skill
After that the Gods held a denatus to tell of their findings
The other Gods were surprised
At the peek of denatus they gave an alias to the woman 'Hope'... For that's what she has given to them in the darkest time of Orario, as for the spell they have dubbed it as 'Sacred Song'
After the denatus, the survivors of the ordeal and their familia's created an alliance and called themselves 'Guardians of the song' and swore to protect Orario and it's citizens, and give them Hope for a brighter future
But little did they know... That was just the start
