The Promise:Time and Death

Chapter 14

Coming out of her mind she saw her brother walk out of the bar and get into his car. Checking the time she saw that it was now 7:30 , so after he pulled out she followed but kept a good distance in between. Driving down the road Will couldn't help but notice a car following behind him. Thinking it's weird he slowed down so they could pass, but the car didn't, it just started to speed up. Seeing that the car has now sped up, Will sped up to. " Dang it, it's probably one of his goons" He spat referring to the blue eyed man so Will sped up a little trying to lose the goons while going around the curvy road. The car sped up and hit Will from the back so Will sped up going around the curves trying to not hit the curb or a tree. Scared and anxious Will was still going. But then the car behind him hit him and Will's car flipped over. Will was in the car unconscious bleeding from his head and arms. The person got out of the other car and walked over to Will's car. He opened the driver side door and checked his pulse. Now knowing that Will was still breathing the man and two other men that was also in the car grabbed Will unconscious body and put him in the backseat and then they drove off but not before making a call " The job is done" The man with the tattoo on his neck said in to the phone and then hung up. Tris was one car away from Will because there was black Suv that jumped between the two but going further down the road the suv started to speed up and then so did Will. Confused by this, Tris continued to watch but she also realized that the police officer may have been telling the truth that her brother was in a car accident and burned to death. Quickly wiping her tears she sped up a little just enough to catch up with them. Next thing Tris knew the suv hit her brother's car from the back. All three driving faster for different reasons continue around the curvy road. But then the SUV Hit Will's car causing it to flip over twice, seeing this happen she started to cry wanting to run to her brother but she didn't because she needed to see who it was and what happened next so she dried her eyes and watched on the side in the dark. Tris saw a man get out of the Suv and walk over to her brother's car and open the door pulling him out. Watching two other men hop out the Suv as well to join the other man, she saw them carry Will to their suv and put him in the backseat. Tris looked closely at the first man that got out and immediately recognized him to be the man with the tattoo on his neck that she came across at the abandoned building. Ducking down in her seat she stayed that way until the coast was clear. After the coast was clear Tris turned her car around and followed the suv making sure to hide in the shadows. Tris was happy about her brother being alive and she was even happier that she was right but now she has to figure out how to save him from the tattoo guy. Driving behind the suv for what seemed like hours the Suv finally stopped and parked on a dirt road with woods surrounding them. Getting out the men carried Will threw the woods and going unnoticed Tris followed quietly with the gun on her hip and a knife in her boot just in case.
After 5 minutes of walking Tris finally sees a cabin and the men go inside. Quietly going near the cabin holding the gun firmly in her hands as she peaked through the window of the cabin and she saw the men going to a door straight in the back of the cabin. Putting in a code they opened the door and entered with the door shutting behind them. Seeing all she needed to see, Tris went to the door but of course it was locked , cursing under her breath Tris went around to the side and successfully opened a window. She climbed in without making much noise and looked around just in case for cameras. With no cameras in sight she proceeded to the door.
