I woke up, it's still dark. I might be sitting on the cold floor of the outside world.
The outside was supposed to be dangerous, what if I'm dead?
I looked up and- it's strange.
This isn't the village, or the outside. What is this?
There are trees, I don't see anything past the few jumbled up rows of them though, and I think I might be in a cave. The floor of the cave looks like the outside world.
In my village there is a curse and none of us know if anything lives beyond, but it's all ashy stone, probably smooth but we can't touch it. We have to stay inside the walls so we don't touch the ash, or we will become part of it.
But I don't think I'm anywhere near the village.
