It is night at Vanderson University. You just sat down to play Mario Kart with your friends in the student center of your college. Joan was plugging in the Nintendo switch and turned it on. Then he handed everyone a controller. You feel your phone vibrate as you grab the controller. You pull out your phone to see:
Dyl : are u doing anything atm?
You : no, just playing mario kart w/ friends
You : wanna join?
Dyl : yes pls
You : at sc
You : come hither my child
Dyl : ???
You : come here u brat
Dyl : shut up, don't be mean to your child
"Hey my friend Dylan is going to join us, if that's ok?" You say. Joan nodded while Dakota lit up with excitement. "Who is Dylan and why haven't I heard of him," Dakota says grinning ear to ear. You were very introverted and your only two friends were sitting right in front of you. Of course Dakota would be excited to know that you had other friends. Especially if that friend was a guy. "Dylan's just a childhood friend. He just transfer. Our families are extremely close, we practically lived together," you replied. "We can wait till he gets here to start," Joan said.
It was then you realized Joan was giving off hints of jealousy. You didn't understand why since on the outside Joan looks completely content and happy. However, his chemosignals were giving off something else. Before you could ponder about Joan's slight jealousy scent, you hear Dylan approaching. Dylan gives a soft hey while approaching you and your friend group.
"Oh, everyone this is Dylan," you say as you gesture to Dylan to sit down. "Nice to meet you, I'm Joan," Joan said. Dylan nods with an awkward smile. "That's Dakota," you say, pointing to the blonde-haired girl smiling ear to ear. "Hey Dakota," Dylan says sweetly. You can see Dakota "melt" as she accepts the warm welcome. "Let's get started, shall we," Joan said as he was playing with the Mario Kart settings. Everyone starts choosing out their character and kart for the game.
"So, how do you know each other," Dakota said with an eager voice crack. You look at Dylan and he proceeds to talk. "Our families are really close. We've been in the same pack since birth, so we practically grew up together," Dylan replied.
Leave it to Dylan for almost revealing your secret to your friends in the first five minutes of meeting them.
"JUST A LIKE WOLF!" Dakota squealed as she could barely contain her excitement. Dakota was obsessed with the idea that people could turn into werewolves. She got it from her favorite book series Wolf Teen. Which was Ironic because you are a werewolf, you just didn't feel the need to tell anyone. Besides you didn't want to hurt her because werewolves are nothing like in her books.
"Yeah, just like-"
"Pack is what we just call family and friends back home," you blurt out immediately after. "Right..." Dylan replied shortly after.
"Hey, where are you from again?" Joan asked, looking at you.
"Oh, um, Beacon Hills," You reply, "It's a small town. People don't really care about it because it's not really known for its safety. A lot of people come and leave."
"You got that right," Dylan says under his breath.
"Hey, remember that one time Derek tried to pick you up from school and he got flagged down by security because they thought he was a predator?" Dylan said jokingly to you, as he aggressively mashing the buttons to Rainbow Road. Your friends look at you with slightly concerned faces.
