Mission to Coruscant

2041, three years after The Battle of Yavin. The Allies & Rebels had minor victories and minor defeats. The Republic Freedom Fighters took Kamino and began the process of rebuilding, despite the war. President Lyons and the allies sent troops & The Engineer Corps to help with the reconstruction. Around the same time, he released Squad 99 from their stasis a year ago and informed of The Galactic Civil War and began training. Throughout the war, Jay helps Luke and Juchi with their training to be a Jedi and on their missions. But, there is one mission that will scar Jay forever.

April, 2041. a month before The Battle of Hoth. Jay was training Tilana in The Main Hangar of Venator Star Destroyer George Washington. He notice Tilana was getting more and more aggressive. It was even show during the war, reported by a few Rebels who was under her command. A Clone who once served in The 501st Legion during The Clone War said it was like serving under Anakin Skywalker again. As their training session wraps up, ARC Trooper Captain Krill enters the hangar, saying there is an encrypted message for him from Oron Handro. Once at the bridge, Jay answered it. Oron, disguising his voice in the transmission to avoid detetion by The Empire, told him that he has mission for him and his apprentice. Their mission is on Coruscant. A group of Imperial Defectors are plotting to end Palpatine's rule and ending the war.  The person in charge of group of Imperial Defectors, General Ame Thando, wanted revenge following the destruction of Alderaan. An Alderaanian by birth, She didn't approve of The Empire. She was Galactic Republic to the core: a gallant officer during The Clone War, who served under Jedi Master Mace Windu in The 187th Legion, serving as a Colonel. During the war, she sacrificed two limbs for her cause, losing her right arm at The Battle of Ryloth and and right leg at The Battle of Dantooine. When she heard about Alderaan, she went to her quarters and wept. She swore revenge on Palpatine, even if it kills her. On Coruscant, she spoke to him in private and asked for his help in her plan. He accepted her help and would send members and Rebels to assist. He learned that the sister of Jeffian Frihard, named Kalifa, on the planet and is imprisoned by The Empire. Jay pondered on this. He remembered Obi Wan's warning about Coruscant and state of the planet is now. It's crawling with Imperial and soiled the Jedi Temple by placing Imperial Banners on it. He knows if he lands on the planet, he would be facing imprisonment or worst, death. Reluctantly, he agrees to help and gathers a team. Among the team, was Kyle Katarn, ARC Trooper Colonel Fordo, Colonel Ceris Kemen, who remarried after leaving Zerkim, Colonel Gid Kemen, Commander Thire, Commander Jaden Riddash, U.S. Marine Corps Commando Alpha Squad, Lieutenant Rik, Colonel Imma Traslac, Captain Vic Duuss and a platoon of Republic Freedom Fighters & Rebels. He left Britt and Bira in command of The 76th until he comes back. Zasha and Val would have The Republic Freedom Fighters on stand-by when called on. Taking a stolen Lambda-class T-4a shuttle, bound to Coruscant, Jay and his troops boarded it and moved out.

On the way, Jay began to meditate. In his meditation, he asked The Jedi of the past to protect him and his comrades. He also asked to watch over his family and friends. Coming out of hyperspace, There, lying before them, is Coruscant. Jay noticed a grim look on his face. "I swore to never come back to Coruscant." He said, using Echore's words. He was about to repeat Scorch's joke about swearing, but choice not too. Instead, he said simply "Likewise." Luckily, they got pass through Imperial Patrols and began to make contact with General Thando by using an encrypted message. There was a reply, telling them to come to the appointed coordinates. The appointed coordinates were The Disused Republic Intelligence Headquarters Building. Landing the craft, They lowered the ramp and waited for their agents. Hearing the sound of footsteps, one metal and one normal, they readied themselves for what is to come, fearing for a firefight or capture. Once the steps stopped. There was voice that said "Flash.". That code signal caught everyone by surprise. That was a old code signal use by The Allies during The Second World War. "Flash.' came again. Jay replied back by saying "Thunder." Carefully stepping out, they came across a fifty one year old female Imperial Army General. At first glance, she bears a striking resemblance to Tsunade Senju, but with a right cybernetic arm and right cybernetic leg. Placing her hand on her blaster pistol, she asked with concern "Are you Rebels or Imperials?" Cautiously, Jay took out his holoprojector, clicks it on and show her he, and his comrades, are Rebels. He said to her "Hope is like the sun." Which she responded "That will light the fires that will burn The Empire down." After saying that, they shoke each other's hands and welcomed to Coruscant, despite being it under Imperial control and being war time. Taking them inside the intelligence building, They were greeted with Imperial Defectors and members of Rebels In Imperial Gray. Among the members is twenty year old Mara Jade. Mara was taken in by Jedi Master Kalifa and trained her to be a Jedi, despite being hunted by The Empire. In 2024, she was found by The Empire and taken prisoner. Before her capture, she gave Mara to Baida Fas, who continued her training. At the age of eighteen, Mara was promoted to Jedi Knight and went off to join The Rebellion. General Thando went over her plan of attack. The first move is to find and rescue Master Frihard. The best way to get information is at The Headquarters of The ISB. They are warned that the grounds of patrolled by Stormtroopers. If Jay was going to go in, he would not go as a Stormtrooper. On one mission, just like when he helped rescued Leia from The Empire on Nur, he was disguised as an Imperial Stormtrooper and had difficulty firing his blaster. During the firefight, he threw his helmet and stated he can't see a thing out of that helmet. He would also state "I much rather wear Clone Trooper Armor over Stormtrooper Armor any day." Many Rebels and Clones would agree to that. Jay told Thando "If I'm going in, I'm going in as an officer. I had enough with Stormtrooper Armor." Astros agreed with him, as he, when The Empire issued Stormtrooper Armor to all soldiers of The Empire, still wore his Phase II Clone Trooper Armor. "I understand." Thando said. "And I accept your request. But, you won't be going in there alone. If you are caught, they would discover us." "I'll go with him." Jaden said. "I will too." Said Kain Riddash, stating that he and Artos knows the building inside and out. He also knows that Oron Handro will be there too, waiting for them. Thando agreed with Kain's company and told them to get ready and will monitor comms.
